Balcony Bar — Restaurant in Dubai

Used to be a great bar with good service and ambience. With recent changes the place has rapidly gone downhill. In my visits in the past 2 weeks the staff was too busy gossiping or singing rather than paying attention to customers. Lady bartender has a serious attitude - rolls her eyes like she is doing you a big favor serving you. She is also rude to the staff in front of customers. The staff should not argue in front of customers. The service is incredibly slow. The bar has become a hangout for drunks and there are regular incidents. The bar is also a hangout for many business ladies. One can’t sit at the bar without them trying to get your attention. The lady next to me asked me several times if I was busy tonight??? Does the hotel encourage this type behavior from the staff and guests and ignore laws to make a profit? The place has really become very...

Been to shangri-la hotel a few times as my friends stayed there and offcourse to iKandy many times ( it used to be one of my favorite place ) with my expats & local friends . Recently Went to balcony bar for the first time its bit cozy place and quite busy in the night yet all staff were smiling/welcoming and well attentive . I was attended by Sergey - * VERY GOOD * service and informative (4/5 for his service ) ,he also informed me about happy hours . The only thing I didn’t like much was there were some business ladies at the bar . It’s good place for afternoon work meeting also . Next time I would more prefer going late afternoon or in evening for drinks !
