I recently had the opportunity to attend the brunch at Bar Du Port in Dubai Harbour Marine, and I must say that overall, it was a delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a wonderful view of the yachts in Dubai Harbour, setting the perfect backdrop for a relaxing brunch.
One of the standout features of the brunch was the excellent music. The atmosphere was lively and energetic, with a great selection of songs that added to the overall ambiance. The music created a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere, making the brunch even more enjoyable.
Moving on to the food, I found it to be delicious and satisfying. The brunch spread offered a wide variety of dishes, catering to various preferences and dietary requirements. From fresh seafood to flavorful meats and vegetarian options, there was something to please every palate. The quality of the food was commendable, and the presentation was aesthetically pleasing.
Another highlight of the brunch was the breathtaking view of the yachts in Dubai Harbour. The location of Bar Du Port provided a stunning backdrop, creating a serene and picturesque setting. It was a joy to sit back, enjoy the food and music, and take in the beautiful surroundings.
However, I must address a concern regarding the refund for the deposit. Unfortunately, I have yet to receive my refund even after several attempts to contact them. I reached out to them after the brunch, as they had assured me that the deposit would be returned within 7 to 10 days. It has now been 18 days since the brunch, and each time I call, I am told they will check with accounts. The process of getting my deposit back has been a complete nightmare, and it has been frustrating to not receive a timely resolution.
Despite this setback, I must emphasize that the overall experience at Bar Du Port was highly enjoyable. The combination of good music, delicious food, and a wonderful view of the yachts in Dubai Harbour created a memorable brunch experience. However, it is essential for the management of Bar Du Port to address the issue of delayed refunds promptly to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain their reputation.
In conclusion, if you are looking for a brunch experience with good music, excellent food, and a stunning view of the yachts in Dubai Harbour, Bar Du Port is definitely worth considering. However, I would advise potential customers to be cautious regarding the refund process and to follow up diligently to avoid any...
Read moreGreat new spot in Dubai Harbour next to Dubai Marina. The restaurant itself has beautiful decor and post 9pm it feels like it’s happening. There are great vibes. Fantastic addition to the outdoor dining scene in Dubai.
The service itself needs some improvement. It’s not terrible, but needs some fine-tuning. Looks like they have the right amount of staff, but I see them being all over the place. Hopefully they’ll sort this out soon because I’d like to go back.
We came on the Thursday night and they had a live singer which was awesome. I’m glad they are doing this and I’m glad singing at restos and bars is back!
The food itself was good. I wasn’t impressed, but definitely happy with the meal. The menu has variety so there is something for everyone. I had the octopus which was cooked well and the sauce was additive to the flavor. The zucchini au gratin had great cheese. I wish there was more zucchini in it. The risotto was creamy and well cooked, and the beetroot salad tasted fresh. We tried a few other things as well and everything was consistently good which is difficult to do on a very busy night. Kudos to the chef and the kitchen.
The drinks were solid. We had different ones. I focused on wine. The ones by the glass were actually very good. My friends told me that the cocktails were great as well.
Tips: Valet isn’t covered by the restaurant so make sure you carry cash because their credit card machine wasn’t available. You can always park yourself but it may be a bit of a walk if you are on heels If you want to see the band on a Thursday night. Reserve for 8pm and tell them that you want a table close to the stage if you want a quieter eve, don’t come on Thursday after 930pm because it gets loud It’s a romantic place but also fun to come with groups I think the nicest seating area is opposite of Ain Dubai Winter time bring a little coat/jacket because it can be slightly cold Keep in mind they have minimum spends so come hungry and thirsty. Ask them about the minimums before hand and...
Read moreIt was my BD, and when I made reservation, I asked good table next to the water and mentioned that it’s my BD. They gave us table next to waiters station, all night they was moving garbage bins next to us, and all sofa was always full of water, and all this Noise from the glasses next to us. When we asked to change our table to the next one, which get vacant, they refused, and said it’s booked already. And it was just 3 guys. I was celebrating BD! Didn’t know that it’s ladies nigh, we got package, but from 4 glasses only one had an alcohol. My friend brought me balloons, and they didn’t allow to keep in side, and when I asked few ppl to explain why it’s not allowed, no one could explain, just said “it’s a rule” (and what was a surprise when we saw later on someone table balloons), so hostess she took it, and said she will give it to us back when we will go back, and guess what? They lost it, as it was next to hostess desk, so someone just took it. And when I spoke to the manager (in blue jacket, don’t know her name), she said it’s not their responsibility to watch balloons. Well, if they would be next to me, yes, it’s not their responsibility. But if staff taking something from me and saying I will keep it somewhere and will give it to u - it’s means it’s their responsibility. I’m 8 years in Dubai, and first time I saw this kind of treatment of customers in Dubai, specially this level of place. And yes, music…. It’s another story… like in pub but definitely not a terrace. So my BD was completely ruined with the staff attitude, table and with the...
