Of course — here’s a condensed, ~500-word version of your review for Google Maps, keeping the same meaning, tone, and impact but making it sharper and easier to read online:

⸻

⭐️ 2.5 out of 5 — Great Location, Poor Execution

FISH Dubai has one of the most beautiful settings you can ask for — right on the beach, surrounded by palm trees and the sound of the sea. The atmosphere is genuinely lovely. Unfortunately, that’s about the only thing this restaurant gets right.

From the start, the service was painfully slow. We ordered simple whisky — no ice, no cocktail — and it took 15 minutes to arrive. The food, promised in 25 minutes, came closer to 40. Bread arrived after 20 minutes, and when I asked about the age of their balsamic vinegar, three different waiters couldn’t answer. All said they’d “go check,” and none came back with a response.

The tomato salad I ordered was just that — chopped tomatoes with a few spinach leaves. No olive oil, no seasoning, no dressing. My companion ordered water, but it didn’t arrive with her first drink and only came once we were nearly done with the main course.

The second whisky took another 20 minutes, and even butter for the bread took seven minutes — and only after asking twice. These might sound like small details, but in a restaurant that positions itself as premium, details are everything.

When the food finally arrived, it was… fine. Nothing terrible, but nothing memorable. The flavors were flat, lacking salt, pepper, or any character. The meat had no seasoning, the vegetables tasted like they came straight from the fridge, and the mashed potatoes were dry, heavy, and missing butter or cream. It all felt like ingredients placed together, not a dish created with care.

By the end of the meal, I found myself enjoying the bread and butter more than anything else — which says a lot about the rest of the menu. For a restaurant with this level of pricing and this stunning location, the experience should be refined, consistent, and worth remembering. Instead, it felt uncoordinated and careless.

There was no apology for the delays, no sense of attentiveness, and no effort to elevate the experience. It’s clear that FISH relies too heavily on its setting, assuming the view will make guests overlook the flaws.

To be fair, the atmosphere is fantastic — open-air, breezy, with the sea just meters away. It’s a great place to sit and enjoy a drink at sunset. But that’s where it ends.

If you’re coming for a beautiful view and a drink, you’ll enjoy it. If you’re coming for excellent food or attentive service, you’ll be disappointed.

Summary: • Service: 1/5 — very slow, untrained staff • Food: 2.5/5 — average at best, under-seasoned • Atmosphere: 5/5 — gorgeous seaside setting • Value for money: 2/5 — not worth the price

Final Verdict: ⭐️⭐️½ — saved only by the atmosphere.

Upon arrival at the restaurant this evening, service was immediately slow. It took at least 20 minutes for us to catch the attention of a staff member to order, and this was not even the waiter ‘assigned’ to us for the evening, who was then directed to us by his colleague.

When ordering, we ordered 1 main course and various smaller dishes. The waiter asked if we would like these served together and we said yes. When the food arrived, a significant period of time later, it was mostly cold and soggy. We also asked for bread which never arrived to the table. When we mentioned this at point of payment with a different waitress, she apologised and arranged a discount to be applied to our bill.

Then our original waiter approached to ask us what the issues had been. When mentioned the food was cold, he argued that we had asked for it served altogether, so some of it would have been colder. This does not excuse our food being served cold and if so, we should have been warned at the time of ordering. We said as such, to which he blamed the outdoor setting of the restaurant and the humidity, which should not affect how our food arrives to the table.

The waiter then argued that we should have spoken to him only and not the other member of staff taking our payment, even though we barely had any contact with him all night and were constantly ordering/ paying through other staff members who weren’t ‘our’ server. We explained we could never find him to order and he said that we seemed fine anytime he passed and so he didn’t bother us. Anytime we attempted to explain that he was never present for us to ask for assistance, he would produce a counter argument and try to shift the blame onto us.

I am extremely dissatisfied with our service tonight, particularly with the attitude provided by our server when we attempted to address our issues. As the restaurant was aware, we were celebrating a wedding engagement this evening and to then receive this level of service is unacceptable and upsetting, particularly for such a special occasion. None of the 4 in the party have ever experienced such poor service in Dubai, in the 3 years each we have lived here respectively. We will not...

This place enjoys one of the best outdoor places in Dubai during winter. Overlooking directly on the beach with stunning views on the Palm. The menu is mixed of Greek and Turkish food although the restaurant presents itself as a Turkish restaurant. The food is mainly seafood (their meat is not as good). They have a display of fresh seafood in addition to their a la carte items. The food is delicious except for the desserts which I found to be average. The service needs improvement. When we arrived (we were a party of 6), the lady at the counter was not welcoming at all, I would say even rude. Although I have booked days in advance she tried to give us a table at the end of the restaurant where the barbecue is taking place. Of course we would’ve been covered with a smoke. We resisted, and after a lot of give-and-take she agreed to give us another table. And the waiter assigned to us was efficient and attentive but she completely disappeared around middle for meal. We had to clear empty bottles ourselves and put it on the ground to make room for the food. The service definitely needs an...

This place seems and feels out of Dubai, Mediterranean vibes are all around with the gorgeous views and sunset. We had dinner last night 7 people, ⭐️Meze platters for beginning is for sharing and quite delicious. They come in small plates each fresh and tasty. ⭐️ Bread was everyone's favorite, small, sour-dough loafs which is a very good complimentary for the mezes. ⭐️Salads are also quite satisfactory. ⭐️ Hot appetizers like the calamar and octopus were fine also. ⭐️ Place is kids friendly, there is no specific area for kids but as you sit on the beach kids feel free to play&walk around. Most of the tables had kids of all ages. ⭐️ Food serving starts at 6pm but restaurant opens at 5pm for drinks which is the perfect timing to watch the sunset. ⭐️ 2 of us had blush others had rakı for alcoholic drinks. Definetly recommended and it seems it is the perfect weather to feel the sand in your feet and watch the perfect sunset while enjoying your drink. PS: I don't have so many photos as we enjoyed the table and did not have any chance for photos.
