FREVO — Restaurant in Dubai

Dined with my family tonight with our 2 small children (7mos and 3yrs) for our eldest’s birthday dinner, we were first to arrive at 6pm and was requesting to be seated in a table next to a window so the kids can be distracted and also for some light as the table we assigned to was dark and by a wall. My husband asked the girl (with long black hair, ddnt get her name) who received us by reception she said no were fully booked. I went myself again and asked because it was really dark where we were placed but she was absolutely not willing to help and so uptight about it. I said nobodys here yet and if she can help us move to a different table by the time people actually arrive were probably on our way out, she said customers who booked has been there before and they know the layout of the restaurant and they want to sit by the window. She was showing me the computer repeatedly and when I asked what can she do for us, said she cant help and that its better for us to be far because its loud later on.

Luckily, this was witnessed by Tidaous Fikr, I wish i got his name right (sorry if i ddnt🙈) — went back to the table upset and he asked if everything was ok, to be honest I was ready to leave, that woman at the reception has ruined it for me looking at an empty restaurant but wont help us move tables (it was like a big joke!) but when we said we wanted to move tables, took him 5 seconds to help us move and have a better experience. So I really wanted to commend his great customer service skills and service recovery. You can really see he has proper customer service experience, I thanked him for his flexibility.

Everything went smoothly after that, food was fantastic! Mark and another guy, forgot his name who served us was so attentive and friendly even making recommendations which meat to try which was amazing. Another meat server had a platter of well done meat arranged for me without even asking since he noticed I was only asking for well done. So thats amazing attention to detail. At dessert they sang happy birthday to our daugther with a candle for her to blow. Thank you team! Also great entertainment my daugther was dancing away with the nice music!

(By the time we left the place wasnt even half full and the table by the window wasnt even occupied! So what was the fuss about with reception, she needs to understand when she should stick with her procedures and when to think outside the box, she has zero problem...

FREVO was our stellar Resto ever since we tried extra special dinner in dubai, that’s why we didn’t just went there once but for so many times.Well for me service gives my dining experience an A+ which FREVO proven to us that they have it, thats why special thanks to the staff specially Owrangojeb who really follow the standards of an A+ service the FREVO that we always brag to our friends. Unfortunately, maybe the management change in which we noticed some changes just like before the manager are the first one who is welcoming us and make sure that our dining experience will be extra special. Also I’ve noticed that those who are serving there churrascaria are not that focused and active because we saw them giving the meal to the other table and just pass us by on our table even we open our light ( you need to open the table light to signal them that you want to be serve) . In which we need to call them for so many times just for us to be serve that was never happened on our pass dining experience in FREVO. We felt quite shy because we invited our friends from canada and UK to the restaurant for them to experience an A+ type of food and service but sadly where we failed to show and seen that day.

To be fair i would like commend that the food are still 5 star however the service diminished in to 2.5 i hope they will manage to improve again and looking forward to experience again the FREVO that worth...

We had such a wonderful dinner at Frevo – truly one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Dubai. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the moment you walk in, you’re embraced by that genuine Brazilian spirit.

The food was absolutely fantastic. The selection of meats was incredible – so many cuts, each one cooked to perfection, tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Every time we thought we’d found our favorite, the next one arrived and surprised us again. If you love high-quality meat, this place is simply unbeatable.

A special mention goes to Prasanna, who took such amazing care of us throughout the evening. He was incredibly attentive, kind, and made sure we were always enjoying the experience. It really made a difference – he added a personal touch that made us feel truly welcomed and looked after.

The buffet of Brazilian starters was another highlight – so fresh and full of flavor, with unique dishes we hadn’t tried before. And we can’t forget the desserts: the Brazilian sweets were delicious and beautifully presented, the perfect way to end the meal.
