I hope this message finds you well. I’m writing to express my disappointment regarding a recent experience I had with your restaurant.
I placed an order and realized not even a minute later that I needed to cancel it to add the discount offered by careem so I reached out immediately, expecting that such a prompt request would be accommodated, especially given the extremely short time frame. However, I was told that cancellation was not possible, that the manager of the restaurant refused which I found quite inflexible and frustrating. even when careem team mentioned that I would have order again but with the discount
I understand that policies exist for a reason, but I believe there should be some room for reasonable exceptions—particularly when the request comes moments after the order is placed and before any food preparation could have begun. Costumers also have the right to make mistake
As a customer who appreciates quality service and enjoys sushi, I hope you’ll consider revisiting this approach. A little understanding and flexibility go a long way in building customer loyalty.
I am very very very dissapointed by the luck of flexibility really I ended up paying 256 instead of 173 aed and the worse is it took more than an hour TO REACH TO ME

Preparation & delivery promised in 1 hour from Jlt to Marina ,the distance of 10min takes forever for them,at least 1hr & half after you contact them 100 times in regards of order delivery! Staff doesn't speak proper english & can't read adress related info properly. Both times -the same delivery delay & mess issue!First time their driver went to an other place,when the adress was clearly mentioned online! Read moreThis Japanese restaurant is set in JLT next to the man-made lake. It has a wide variety of offerings including hot and cold appetisers, soups, salads, rice dishes, bento boxes, platters, stir fried dishes, noodles, and probably their specialty - sushi and sashimi.
The restaurant is quite casually but nicely fitted out. It's not a large restaurant, but combining indoor seating (some with split system air conditioning directly facing some very breezy seats which is better during the summer months), al fresco tables, and outdoor lounge seating by the lake there's quite a lot of options during the cooler months.
At present, there's a weekend promotion on Friday to Sunday from 3pm to close where for AED89 plus VAT you can order as much food as you can eat from the menu (except a limit of 10 pieces of sashimi, and excluding a few items such as the black cod miso, platters and bentos). The quality of the sushi is very good for the price you pay under the promotion (regular prices are not that cheap), but a couple of the cooked appetisers were quite average (tempura prawn batter was too heavy and the chicken gyoza a bit bland).
