House of Noodles - Pan Asian restaurant — Restaurant in Dubai

I don’t know how this place has a lot of 5 stars — i’m assuming that was when it was still the original store ‘The Noodle House’ and not ‘House of Noodles’ which is its name now.

Yes…it’s a different restaurant altogether which is why I was aware of the stark difference in the quality of the food we were served.

We went on Sunday night and we ordered Crispy Duck Wraps, Beef Noodles and Chicken Katsu.

We were served an old chewy breaded duck swimming in mayo, wrapped in a cold chinese pancake. When I asked the server why it had mayo and not hoisin sauce like it usually does, she lied to my face and told me that it is served like that. By the way it even says it on the menu that it has hoisin sauce! She says she could get me hoisin sauce for it so after 5 mins, she comes back and serves me ketchup with soysauce.

I don’t know what’s worse, the food or the fact that they’re trying to fool people by serving subpar food with substituted ingredients.

If they didn’t have the necessary ingredients, they could’ve just told us that it wasn’t available instead of lying about it.

And as for the chicken katsu sauce, it was essentially gravy with curry powder

The only thing was half decent was the beef noodles.

Such a shame because when the original The Noodle House opened that branch sometime in 2016/2017 we actually came to review it for a magazine!

Located in Two Seasons Hotel (Former Gloria Hotel) beside Dubai Internet City Metro Station. It is a Pan-Asian Restaurant which offers a variety of options such as selected food from Thailand, Japan, China and Korea.

The Pad Thai and Yakisoba which I have tried were really taste amazing. The servings were in great size and aesthetically delicious. The lemon tea were so refreshing. I am excited to try others when I come back again next time.

The servers were nice especially the server manager. The place is beautiful and neat. The asian vibe is strong which is so cool.
