My experience at PastaYio was memorable in many ways. The ambiance is elegant, the décor is stylish, and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing. The soft background music adds a beautiful touch that enhances the dining experience. As for the food—it was absolutely outstanding. The flavors were refined, the presentation was excellent, and the menu offered a great variety to suit different tastes. I must also praise the staff for their warm welcome, professionalism, and attentiveness throughout our visit.

However, unfortunately, one issue significantly affected our overall experience. There was a group of men seated nearby who were laughing extremely loudly—almost shouting—which caused noticeable discomfort to everyone around. We spoke to one of the staff members about the noise, but we were told that nothing could be done. The loud behavior continued, and we ended up rushing through our meal just to get out of the uncomfortable situation. We requested to speak to the manager, but he never came. Instead, another staff member came over and gave us the same response: “There’s nothing we can do.”

It was disappointing to see that the comfort of all guests was disregarded, and the atmosphere of the restaurant—which is meant to be calm and refined—was completely disrupted. What made it worse is that I was dining with my children, and I was very careful to make sure they remained quiet out of respect for other diners. So, it’s especially frustrating to see grown adults behaving as if the restaurant belonged to them alone, with no consideration for others.

Despite how much I enjoyed the food, the atmosphere, and the warm service, this single issue was enough for me to reconsider returning. Respect should not only be shown to those who cause noise and disturbance, but more importantly to those who are trying to enjoy their...

If you're the kind of person who enjoys a mid-day glass of #prosecco with your meal, the three course business lunch at Al Pastaio may appeal to you – a glass of fizz is included in the AED135 price. What isn't is water – AED40! The lord of #pasta giveth with one hand and taketh with the other.

The #business #lunch menu doesn't include any of the big name pasta dishes the #restaurant is famous for but both the #fettuccine with #bolognese sauce and the #risotto #burrata we ordered were seriously amazing. I especially liked the Risotto which was cooked my kind of al dente, firm to the the bite without seeming like it needs a minute or two more

The most interesting of the starters was the Beef Carpaccio – how predictable, how boring. The other two choices were grilled vegetables and Caesars salad – really? These are the dishes with which you want to wow! new customers? I must admit, the #carpaccio was very, very good. The salad was ok at best.

The Tiramisu we ended our meal with was brilliant. Neither of us liked the Panna Cotta.

The other disappointment was the fact that this famous #sicilian restaurant from #losangeles was absolutely empty – zero people, zero ambiance – and no amount of delicious food or impeccable service can make up for that. How sad.
