Ok . I’m french so excuse my english. I usually never comment about restaurant. I don’t think its fair to a restaurant or for a customer. My point of view it’s to always give a chance for trying something. I moved in dubai in september in Al haboor city. It has been 6 months, i go every day in the supermarket called all day. Everyday i pass in front of that restaurant called Sirali. Ferrari lamborghini in front , nice restaurant , nice decoration. I said to my wife this restaurant look nice we should try. My wife responded exactly this : “they are in front of the hilton, i’m sure they make you overpay bad food” .. i sait come on, if they have a rich clientele they must use good ingredient and cook well. So for eid , we went there : i will start to speak about the staff, they are amazing, polite, helpful, good advisers. Nothing to say about them they are amazing. But the food. I swear its maybe one of the worst restaurant i ve ever eaten in my life, and i live in Paris i know what is good food. We order hummus with meat. The hummus i can give my end to cut its can hummus, it was very acidand tasteless ( the best one of you want to compare botb is in al hallab or em cafe) the meat on it was dry and cold. Unacceptable. Then we took battara harra what they called on their menu spicy potataoes 😂😂😂😂 that was a joke, it was square french fries with absolutely no spice on it !!! Please just go to a small lebanese restaurant called shamzat next to the sheraton on sheikh zayed road and try their batata harra you will understand what i m saying. Then we order some meat courses ..poor dressing some few pieces of meat with 2 mountain of oinion and “one tomato” and it was called. The other one was just some meat and a stupid mountain of crisp chips. 500+ aed for that is pure stealing. The saddest thing is we arrive when the restaurant was empty so what wouldve happen if it was busy. To finish , its honestly not a restaurant you should go. Its not about food, its only...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at a delightful Turkish restaurant Sıralı, that left me with an unforgettable experience. From the warm hospitality to the mouthwatering dishes, every aspect of my visit was exceptional.
As soon as I entered the restaurant, I was greeted by a friendly staff who made me feel like a valued guest. The warm smiles and genuine warmth instantly set the tone for the evening. It was evident that the team was dedicated to providing exceptional service.
Now, let's talk about the star of the show—the food! The menu boasted a variety of traditional Turkish dishes that were crafted with precision and bursting with flavors. Each bite transported me to the vibrant streets of Istanbul and southeast cities of Turkey and I couldn't help but appreciate the authenticity and attention to detail in every dish.
However, what truly elevated my dining experience was the exceptional service provided by the waitress, Seda. She exuded a remarkable knowledge of the menu and showcased a genuine passion for Turkish cuisine. Seda's attention to detail was commendable, as she effortlessly anticipated my needs and offered suggestions based on my preferences. Her warm and friendly demeanor made me feel at ease throughout the evening, and I greatly appreciated her guidance in selecting the perfect dishes.
Seda's recommendations were spot-on, and I savored every bite of the delicious food she had suggested. From the tender and aromatic kebabs to the delightful mezes, each dish was a true culinary delight. I was impressed by the freshness of the ingredients and the impeccable...
Read moreGreat, authentic Turkish food is hard to find. So when it does turn up it's a cause for celebration. The core of Turkish cuisine, a beautiful interplay of animal, fat, fire, and salt, can be found at @siralikebapdubai. Anyone with experience of Turkey and its cuisine will find the large, extensive menu to be very familiar. The service is outstanding, and the ambience is gorgeous with its touch of an eclectic Ottoman vibe.
We began with mixed cold and hot meze, which is just something to do while you wait for things to be grilled for you. The Denizli Kale Pepper, which has a scary appearance are traditional chillies that are fried and then dried. It is a dish you should try. We kept eating it nonstop. With the freshly baked Turkish bread, the pomegranate and spice-infused Sultan Dip made a delicious appetiser.
The meat shashlik and the chicken shish kebab were both extremely delicious. They had a lovely texture, were grilled over coals for a smoky flavour, and the marinated spices made them perfectly succulent. Sizzling hot butter was poured liberally over the shashlik table side giving us a performance and letting us know that this is a meal you will love and have to work off in the gym for days to come.
The desserts, as expected were spot on. The Katmer & Kunafah were heavenly. With a Turkish coffee to end my meal, all I could think of was that Sirali is definitely bold and thrills with its menu. And as it happens, properly delicious.
This is the best Turkish food I've had in Dubai. You...
