Buddha Bar had been the number one on my bucket list for over a year, and I finally went there for my Anniversary dinner! And I must tell you, the place was totally worth the wait and every penny spent! Once we entered, the people attended to us so well, but we were too busy being mesmerized by the beautiful setting and ambiance of the place! We were seated at a good table, but we headed to the bar and started off with a couple of drinks first - Maha Bodhi and Goa Masala. The Goa Masala was good, but the Maha Bodhi was one of THE best cocktails I've ever had!
For starters, we had the Chicken Sui Mai, and again, those were the best dumplings I've ever had! For the mains, we opted for the Chicken Kung Pao and the Mei Goreng Chicken. You might think I'm just repeating sentences here, but that Kung Pao was absolutely brilliant and so was the Mei Goreng, and obviously they were the best I've eaten! The mains and starters were so good, that I expected nothing but the best for dessert, and we weren't disappointed! That Chocolate Fondant was oozing with deliciousness in every little bite, and that Chocolate Chili Cake was really good too. However, the best part was when our server brought us that surprise cheesecake, which neither of us expected! And OMG, That cheesecake! My boyfriend is a huge fan of cheesecakes and has tried a lot of them, and none that he's ever tried were half as good as this one!
So I think that pretty much sums up how much we enjoyed our meal and how good the food and everything else was! Oh and I must mention our server, Nabil, who was so very sweet and friendly, and he made our dining experience a whole lot better! @ ...

My dining experience at Sidaharta Restaurant on April 26th was a blend of highs and lows, leaving me with mixed feelings about the establishment.
Positives: The ambiance of the restaurant was enhanced by the pleasant music playing in the background, contributing to a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
Negatives: However, the negatives outweighed the positives, starting with the limited menu options. As part of a group of seven guests, we found ourselves restricted to choosing between a set menu for sharing or individual a la carte options. This lack of flexibility in accommodating varying preferences was disappointing and left us feeling constrained in our dining choices.
Furthermore, the absence of a non-alcoholic beverage package was another drawback. While an alcohol package was available, the inability to cater to guests who preferred non-alcoholic options seemed like a missed opportunity for inclusivity.
Additionally, although the quality of the food was commendable, there were significant delays in receiving our a la carte orders, with waits of up to 30 minutes. This delay detracted from the overall dining experience and left us feeling frustrated and impatient.
In summary, while Sidaharta Restaurant offers a pleasing ambiance and commendable food quality, its shortcomings in menu flexibility, beverage options, and service efficiency hindered the overall enjoyment of the dining experience. There is room for improvement in addressing these issues to better meet the expectations of...
Read moreThis was our first experience at Siddharta lounge. After making booking and arriving at the destination they began to be funny about my husband wearing a smart vest on a 42 degree weather. They said that this is a smart place and they have a dress code which unfortunately was not enforced on their site, However as the place was quiet they agreed to allow my husband in wearing the vest. We were then greeted by a lady on the rooftop which was rude and began to look up and down at us with a face on, this has made me feel uncomfortable and insecure. After being Sat we were greeted by a gentleman named Maged he was very polite and friendly which then made us feel more welcomed he was helpful in explaining the menu and also give a lovely recommendation of the mock-tails.
The mocktails were refreshing we also had a crunchy shrimp sushi which was delicious. The view from the rooftop bar was overseeing the Dubai marina and a lovely location to watch the sunset.
Would recommend to visit, however the improvement would be for this lady that first showed us to the table to improve her...
