You know that phrase "Hidden Gem" ? I would ask everyone to please come out here and find it! Yum is one of those rare places that combines great food and great service in a quiet, simple setting with a live-view kitchen

I have been coming here for a decade and Yum never lets us down. I have even spent New Year's Eve with friends, laughing over Saki Bombs and egg noodles and until today it remains one of my fondest New Years' Eve memories in this city.

With an ample multi-Asian cuisine menu and a bevy of beverages to choose from trust me: you will be spoilt for choice here. Personally I believe I have sampled around 80% of the menu and I always land back on the glass noodles with chicken and shrimp or on the Thai flat noodles. Go for the Nasi Goreng if you are a rice person, or go for duck if you are adventurous; there is nothing wrong on this menu.

Yum is a place I just cannot believe people don't know about. Yes, for some the thought could be "all the way in deira?" -- But it's worth the drive!

I'd like to commend Rosie, Anjal, Ceilo, and Sarita.

We have booked for a party of 38 for my sons' birthday lunch celebration yesterday. It is important to note that a lot of planning and coordination had to be done to make this happen.

Both Rosie and Anjal were quick to respond in my Whatsapp messages weeks prior to the lunch date. If I had any changes, it was well noted. And I value that they reiterate my requests to me to make sure that everything was in place.

On the day of the celebration, I must say, I am impressed with their swiftness and receptiveness. They have also been so caring and intentional with their service - all of this with a smile! It was so wonderful to be around accommodating, kind, and warm people.

Everyone had a good time, everyone was well-fed and taken care of, my sons' had a good time. It was just remarkable.

I would also like to mention Ms. Rosie's kindness.. I could sing praises. She was just truly wonderful. Mother to mother, I appreciate how you've helped me and my son find a comfortable place to settle him. You are so caring and very mindful of your customer's needs. I really appreciate that.
