I recently had the chance to explore another Iranian Restaurant here in Dubai, Pars Iranian Restaurant near Trade Centre, during my lunch break at work, and it was quite an experience! With a 4.2-star rating and 399 reviews on Google Maps, I was excited to see if this Persian restaurant lived up to the hype online.

One of the highlights is trying their signature dish, kebab Koobideh. In this review, I’ll break down my experience, covering everything from the restaurant’s location to the quality of the Iranian food. Whether you’re a fan of Persian Food or just curious about the dining scene in Dubai, I hope you find this review insightful. Let’s see what this Pars Iranian Restaurant has to offer

Location: Pars Iranian Restaurant has two branches in Dubai, with one in Deira and another more central in Trade Centre, about 30 minutes from the DIFC area where I work, and 15 minutes from the nearest metro station (Max Metro). It's not super convenient, but manageable for a lunch break. It's closer to Emirates Towers and the Museum of the Future. There are also a few hotels near it if you happen to be staying in that area. You can get there by walking from those mentioned landmarks, or the subway. But it needs a walk so it's not the most convenient.

Star: Half Star

Service: The service itself was average. The staff didn't really greet me when I arrived and weren't particularly friendly or bothered during the meal. They did the basics - took my order and brought food - but there wasn't any warm hospitality or even interest in the customer. They could definitely improve on customer interaction and friendliness.

But it makes up for it in decoration which is quite nice with lots of traditional Iranian items on display, and there are great amounts of starters which I will get to later.

Star: Half Star

Price: Prices here are typical for Dubai. My Koobideh cost 70 Dirhams (about 15 GBP pounds, which is standard in most Iranian restaurants in most places I go); that's slightly higher than the average in UAE being 60 AED. The total bill was around 90 Dirhams (20 GBP pounds). It's not cheap, but not breaking the bank.

Star: Half Star

Quantity: The portions are huge! My table was quickly filled with starters - a big plate of greens and cheese, a large salad, lots of bread, and lovely warm soup. The main dish was also substantial, the plate was large, the Koobideh long, the rice overflowing. It was overwhelming and I couldn't finish everything, which is rare. You definitely get a lot for your money here.

Star: Full Star

Quality: This is where the restaurant excels. The food was delicious, specifically the Koobideh. It was juicy, flavorful, and perfectly grilled. The free starter soup and salad were also great. Even the doogh (yogurt drink) was so good I had to order seconds. Only the rice was good but could have been softer.

Kudos to them and one I would definitely come back for or recommend to others

Star: Full Star

Summary: In total, I'd rate 3.5 out of 5 stars. While the location and service are average, the food quality and portion sizes are excellent, and for food itself it's one of the best Iranian restaurants I've tried in Dubai. If you're nearby and want tasty, authentic Iranian food, it's definitely worth a visit. With better service and a more central location, it could easily be a 5-star place. This is a great option for food lovers who priorities taste and value over perfect service or convenience. I look forward to visiting them in the Deira branch in the future.

Make sure you check it out!

Unfortunately we left before we even got to try the food at Pars. We arrived at 7pm on a Friday and the place was empty, we were the only ones there. The waiter brought the menu to us and we noticed they do a Pars BBQ for 1,2,3 or 4 people and the price was reasonable. The text said you get to choose your meat. But the waiter had other ideas. He was offering us the 3 cheapest items. Long story short we didn't like the vibe and the way the waiter was handling things so we left.

I would advise the management to 1. Get an Iranian speaking person in the restaurant. 2. change menu to reflect what they want to offer rather than...

The cuisine at this establishment is truly exceptional, featuring delectable dishes like Kebab Torsh and Lari Kebab. In addition to the main course, you'll be treated to complimentary servings of mouthwatering stew, tahchin, and salad – all generously portioned and incredibly flavorful. The service here is truly outstanding, with attentive and polite staff members. The menu is impressively extensive, offering a diverse selection of Persian delicacies. The ambiance and decor contribute to a warm and aesthetically pleasing environment. I wholeheartedly recommend this location for a dining experience that's...

This restaurant was established in that very same spot in 1989 and has been an institution. Fantastic kabab dishes and great for going with a medium to large group because their portions are massive. The restaurant itself is quaint and charming and makes for a refreshing change from all the new plasticky places. Try the aash dish - superb!
