I had such a heartwarming experience at Peet’s Coffee in Al Seef, Dubai, and I especially want to thank the amazing barista Gen.

I had been walking around Al Seef for quite a while, and my shoes had badly hurt my feet. I decided to buy an iced coffee and relax in one of the most beautiful cafés in Dubai. The atmosphere here is incredibly cozy — the wall art adds so much character, and you feel like you’ve traveled back in time.

After ordering my coffee, I took off my shoes hoping to feel some relief. My friend noticed my discomfort and went to ask for a small piece of ice to help. Gen didn’t hesitate for a second — she brought me a full cup of ice to ease the pain. But what truly touched me was that just a few minutes later, she came to our table and handed me two plasters for my blisters.

I was honestly moved to tears. I’ve seen videos on Instagram about simple acts of kindness, but experiencing it myself was unforgettable. Gen, you have a big and kind heart, and I hope your kindness comes back to you a hundredfold.

This moment made me love this café even more, because now it’s not just about great coffee — it’s about the beautiful people who work here. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again.
