This is at the end of Karama, just opposite to Dubai Frame. Pind da Dhaba is actually on the first floor. On the ground floor you have Saleem's of Delhi (Mughlai Restaurant). So, once you enter, just take the stairs to the First floor. As soon as you reach first floor, you get to the seating area. Table reservation option is available. You can get 1 free dish if you area Zomato Gold member.
Staff greets you and gets you to the table as per your requirement. Different seating arrangements are available with 3-4 tables having vies of Dubai Frame. There are tables with small Manji chaarpai (traditional bed) to sit on. Ambience is planned to take you to old days with traditional style Dhaba style restaurant. Old movie posters, colorful lights, lanterns, handpumps are placed to give the retro loo. So I a must try place. We tried vegetarian food: Dahi de kebab starter, Deewani haandi (mix veg. in Palak), Khumbh do sabzi (Kadhai Mushroom), Masala Chaas (buttermilk with spices). You must try the mentioned with Naan or Butter Roti. The food was totally scrumptious so give it a try. You will get served with some papad, pickle and salad till you order arrives. Very hygienic place. +Neat and well kept washrooms.
Takes a bit of time for your order to be served, specially on weekends (Thursday, Friday & Saturday) Place gets a bit noisy due to huge crowd. They have only one Handwash basin for Men and Women toilets. So, the Handwash area becomes too crowded by men and women waiting in a very confined space. Need to do...
Read moreI am from north india Delhi, so the name tempted to visit this restaurant. Me and my wife, moment we entered this place for dinner, were greeted by a nice gentlemen who was smiling throughout and told us that the GF was only for snacks like authentic North Indian chaat papri, golagappe etc, and 1st floor for main dining. We were impressed with their set up which was almost in the style of a pind means a Punjabi village. We tried their ‘Golgappe’- paani puri & dahi bhalle- those were amazing in taste - exactly the way we get in Delhi. Later we went to 1st floor and the ambience was even more welcoming. Food was too good - we tried CHICKEN HUNGAMA - nice cooked boneless chicken marinated with spl herbs and grilled- for starters and Punjabi kukkad - it was semi gravy with minced chicken and boneless chicken in main course - portion for both recepies were enough for two persons. All these were suggested by a nice gentlemen BINOD, who was from Himachal, he was quite experienced and knew what customer actually needs. We ordered PUDINA & LACCHA parantha and I must tell you the parathas were super crunchy and melted in our mouth so well. I would highly recommend this restaurant - as the price is pocket...
Read moreAll happiness depends on a leisurely breakfast. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and I definitely have a hearty breakfast before I do anything. @pinddadhabadxb ‘s is giving us another reason to celebrate and start our mornings on high note. This desi Dhaba style food joint has launched a new breakfast & snacks menu and the inclusions are sure to make you drool. We started off with Mango lassi ,it was thick creamy & luscious 🥭. Next up is my favorite masala maggi , Paneer parata with yogurt and pickle work magic together. And I also got to order Pav bhaji, since my Mr. is a huge fan of it. The utterly butterly delicious pav and spicy bhaji left us wanting more. Not to mention their very famous Punjabi samosa ,they were crispy from outside , with generous filling of potato & peas and best enjoyed when hot & along with a cup of masala chai – a must-try for all samosa lovers!
Last but not the least I’m totally obsessed with the ambience of the restaurant. Every nook and corner here depicts the rich culture and heritage of India especially Punjab.
Can your mornings get any better, I guess not. 😅 Can’t wait to try their evening...
