Authentic food. Good quantity- what we ordered came to be excess and we packed them.

Our order: Fatayer Feta Cheese Koshary Special Falafel plate (mix of spicy and normal)

Fatayer was amazing. Never had anything so authentic before, the feta cheese was just right. Freshly made in the oven that you can see it live if you're sitting indoors on the ground floor. There are different options at the restaurant that you will be amazed by seeing.

Koshary Special - it was my first time trying out Koshary and it turned out to be the best recommendation from my friend. This is a vegetarian option, the other one being the normal Koshary. Koshary is a mix of lentils, rice, pasta, boiled chickpeas and fried onions. They serve you with spicy sauce and tomato-onion sauce that takes the whole experience to another level.

Lastly we ordered a Falafel mix plate with normal and spicy, that comes with freshly baked bread, pickles, salad and of course hummus. The falafel, unlike other places, is green and it was a learning point that in some places falafel is not made with chickpeas rather with fava beans. Overall it was good but on a bit salty side for me.

We came for a Friday lunch here and they made sure to quickly take the and deliver our order before going for prayer. We requested some glasses for drinking water but there were none. Serving spoons had to be requested when...

UPDATE 07/06/2023: Unfortunately I need to update my review. Since the first time of ordering with the restaurant, it looks like, that too much positive words are not good.

In starts with food waste - a very very big issue I today's world - especially at Alfalah Alasli Restaurant. After first order I told them I don't need one full bag (!) of bread but happened twice....third...everytime they confirmed it will not happened again.

Now I have ordered again: 10 packs unnecessary bread. OK- but beside of this: wrong food. Discount; They tell you to give special discount because as a loyal guest. It turns out: At famous delivery services I would get 3-4x times more discount. I am not looking for this - but if I get it offered, take it seriously.

Unfortunately, for now it was the last order.

I recently visited Alfalah Alasli Restaurant in Dubai and I must say it was an incredible experience. The restaurant's ambience was welcoming and comfortable, making me feel at home the moment I walked in.

The food was outstanding, with a diverse range of traditional Middle Eastern dishes that were prepared to perfection. Every dish was bursting with flavor and cooked with the freshest ingredients, and I particularly enjoyed the lamb shank which was so tender and flavorful.
