First time at the brunch Prime68, read great review of the restaurant so wanted to check it out while celebrating my hubby birthday 😊
When we first arrived at our table, we had to wait for 10min before our server came to our table. We had to ask for our drinks as he did not ask or offer. He did not introduce the brunch method as it was our first time dining at their restaurant and after another good 15min, the manager, Byron, came to introduce the brunch method. Not really a good start! And for a posh restaurant, the chair was a tad dirty when we arrived 😐
The ambient was alright as we were sitted by the window. But as the temperature was hot and humid outside, the inside of the restaurant was warm as well, not pleasant as were sitting there for 3 hours, with no cool air/temperature.
After the first course arrived, the food was good until the beef course. We had to wait for at least 35min after the clearance of the selection of starter. We had requested for medium rare for our beef preparation. But when it arrived, only few pieces of the meat was prepared as requested and some other pieces of the meat was disgustingly dry! Not what we were expecting as this is a well known meat restaurant and we expect a higher standard quality of meat for what the price you paid for. Despite the waiting for the beef course, it would be nice if Rohit or any other server came to take our drink order. They also messed up with our water as we had sparkling water but one of the server mistakenly pour still water into our glasses, so we had to ask to change.
We tried the cocktails, Mrs Frost (my fav), Solitaire (it was in red colour although the description was cucumber+gin+elderflower+tonic, they put cranberry instead without informing us and next table customer returned the drink as the drink was not as described), Mayday & Bond Blend. I would not suggest to order cocktails unless you don't mind waiting. We had to try to get the server attention for ordering drinks. The dessert were just the ordinary cheese cake, pecan nut cake, strawberry tart and weird looking crème brûlée. It was nice to have a little break in between courses but would also be nice if the server come to ask for drink order. Usually we need to get their attention for drinks order.
We had an offer so we only pay AED495 for 2 (including house bev) instead of the initial price of AED990 for 2. Overall, we would not come back again due to slow service, non attentive server (Rohit) and the average food quality. Please refer photos...

Last night, me, my wife and 2 kids had dinner at Prime68. We made a reservation earlier that morning and were pleasantly surprised to get a table, considering it’s a 5-star fine dining restaurant.
Although we arrived an hour late, the host kindly informed us that it wasn’t an issue, which we appreciated. We were seated and soon greeted by Mohamed, who took our order. Everything seemed to be going well at first, and we were served two complimentary breads which were absolutely delicious.
However, things started to go downhill once the salad course arrived. For some reason, we were being attended to by three different servers. When I asked the server who brought our salad if he would be serving us—assuming this would be silver service—he simply replied that someone else would do it. We waited for someone to come, but no one did, and eventually, we had to serve ourselves.
When the main course arrived, it was served in parts. Our mains came first, and we had to wait nearly 10 minutes for the sides to arrive. When we asked about the delay, we were told that the kitchen was running a bit slow.
The food itself was outstanding—no complaints there. But when we shared our concerns about the service, the server replied that since the restaurant was quieter that evening, some staff had left early, which is why service was slower.
My wife and I looked at each other in disbelief. To hear such an excuse at a restaurant of this caliber was truly disappointing.
We have been loyal clients of JW Marriott Marquis for the past 10 years, regularly dining at Kitchen6, Rang Mahal, and Prime68. This was our fifth visit to Prime68, but unfortunately, it was not the experience we have come to expect.
I sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously and provides the necessary training to ensure that the service matches the restaurant’s otherwise stellar reputation. When guests pay a premium for a fine dining experience, they deserve to leave feeling satisfied in every aspect—not just the...

We wanted a window seat for 2 that should cost 3,900AED we had an idea that the demand is high, so we wanted to reserve and pay right away (also the girl said that they aren’t fully booked yet). On our first call, the girl promised that we will be getting an email right away for the payment, we waited until the evening to follow up about our reservation and the guy said that as soon as the manager comes in the next day, she will be sending the email. The next day, I didn’t receive an email for the payment link until I called to follow up. When we finally received the email (as the photo attached), it says “non window seat, for one person, worth 3900). So I had to call again to clear up my issue. The girl I spoke to said “ok I already made a comment that you want a window seat and it will be upon availability.” Upon availability??! The price of a window seat during the new year’s is obviously different from a non window seat. Why is she telling me that it’s upon availability??! She then put the line on hold and said to wait. She then told me “ok your window seat is confirmed” I then asked her send an updated email as I will not be paying for the wrong one they sent and she told me to wait for a couple of hours. I waited until the evening to call again and ask for the manager. She said that window seats with Burj Khalifa view has been sold out since September and she only has views away from it, she promised to send an email of the seat to make us “check” if we like the seats or not then we can pay for it. I’m wondering why I keep on receiving different information on each call that I made. I told her to send the picture with the payment link in one time as it’s been frustrating to keep calling. I guarantee you, no body has sent me anything still. Such a bad impression for who hasn’t even entered the restaurant yet and for someone traveling abroad just to see the restaurant!...
