Me and My mum visited this restaurant on 21st March 23 and the experience we had was exquisite. When entering the Hotel JW Marriott was very grand. We were directed to the restaurant on floor 4 and we were received by two staff members from Tong Thai. We confirmed our reservation and we were taken through a long walk to the main restaurant area. As we walked to the restaurant we were bought back to Thailand and the architecture and decor was such we did not feel we were in Dubai. The decor was amazing and extravagant.
We bumped into Sunny (Restaurant Manager) on the way to the main restaurant and she also accompanied us to our table. She was so friendly and courteous and ensured we were introduced to our host who took care of us throughout the meal. I can't remember her name but she knows who she is and so does Sunny, she was very attentive and took care of our dietary needs. They had a pure vegetarian menu as well as a Shell Fish Allergy menu, which is the first I have seen anywhere. This shows, how much the restaurant cares for peoples needs.
We ordered our food and the taste and portion size was more than ample for us. We were provided with a unique Thai desert and it was amazing also. Sunny also kept coming over regularly to check we were ok and everything was good for us. I can not fault Sunny in the way she runs the place and manages the service. She has this so right as I did not find a single flaw throughout my experience. The food taste was very authentic and probably the best Thai food I have eating around the world outside of Phuket Thailand.
A big Thank You to Sunny and to our Host. This will be a definite visit for a meal at every one of our trips to Dubai for sure. See you soon...

The ambience is lovely and the walkway from the restaurant reception to the dining area is adorned with beautiful traditional decor, private dining spaces and an exquisite bar and lounge area. The vast dining area is a sight to behold - red colored hanging lights adorn the entire ceiling and is a highlight of this restaurant.
We tried their High So offer of selected unlimited starters, mains and desserts for AED199/- per person for two hours. The same is available with selected house beverages for AED300/- pp.
We started of with Steamed Purple Flower Chicken Dumplings, Chicken Satay, Minced Chicken Salad and Green Papaya Salad. Loved the dumplings, the covering was soft and the filling was delicious. The satay with the peanut dip was out of this world. I also loved the salad, it was refreshing and spicy, in a good way. The minced chicken salad was interesting.
For mains, we ordered Green Chicken Curry, Pad Thai and Beef Tenderloin. The green curry was lip-smackingly delicious. The beed was ok but the pad thai had a fishy taste that was too overpowering.
I also tried Assadong, a passion fruit with lychee syrup mocktail. It was brilliant.
We ended the night with Thai Tea Milk Cake. The presentation was cute and the flavors were too good. This is a must try!!
Overall, the ambience is lovely, most of what we tried was good, except what I mentioned above but the service...
