🎷 8/8: A downright masterstroke of good taste, the bar - spanning over seven meters with a black marble countertop - is both grandiose and intimate at the same time. Double - no, triple - height ceiling adds to the feeling of someone wanting to make an impression. A worthy playlist accentuates the attention to detail. 🥃 6/8: A less elaborate cocktail menu (percase more focused on the aperitif seeking crowd) than the upstairs sibling 7 Tales. But opting for the classics is always a good choice, and so here too. 👨‍🔬 7/8: A lineup of skilled bartenders, with the hospitality celebutante Orri Pall as the patriarch. Again, they do it well, damn well. 🧊 7/8: Clear ice, big cubes, ice stamp - the sub zero ice knowledge of the Dubai F&B scene is definitely going in the right direction.

If you get the opportunity to visit City Social, definitely go for the food - no matter where you are seated, you will be awed by the views, the heed of the minute details and the presentation of the food - which by the way, of course, is delicious. If you then ask nicely, they may grant you the full tour and after that it’s a fact: This place is aiming towards the very top. Three stars, here we go! From a cocktail bar perspective, it’s a majestic feeling looking up the ceiling, sipping your Dirty Martini, and looking at the staff performing the fast paced waltz of a bar. Sure, there are wishes to be fulfilled, but looking at this from beginning to end - this is stellar.
