Starbucks — Restaurant in Dubai

I purchased a water and a fruit salad while I waited for my 13 hour flight.

To my disgust a horrible off smell came over me and everyone around me when I opened the Fruit salad. It was absolutely disgusting.

After asking for my money back (on card- the way I paid for it) the man first offered me to choose something else but I was so sick from the smell that I didnt want anything. He gave me cash which I refused as I am on my way to Australia and did not want any more international cash.

Finally he offered a fresh fruit salad, which I took but it still tasted old even though it was before the expire date.

The last thing I want before such a long flight is to feel even more sick then I already do!!!

Im so upset this happened and even though it wasnt a coffee but just a fruit salad, I am going to stay away from starbucks...

We were served by Numan, he is nice and accommodating. We went to the counter and asked why the quality of donut is not good. If you slice it it’s crushing into pieces. Numan he offered to reheat but the lady in the counter name Songay rudely said same quality even they reheat. We still insisted to atleast reheat. After the lady reheated she shouted again like customers are not seated on the dining area, “see same quality”. This company is hiring a staff like this?. I am working in a hospitality industry too, handling different nationalities of staffs & this kind of rudeness towards customer is a big NO. Maybe you should ask her if she really like what she’s doing. Maybe you should train her to be more hospitable since she’s working in...

If you are planning to have starbucks coffee near gate C1 and C3 on Dubai airport. Please watch what you are buying and where you are going to sit. I am very regular and fan of Starbucks coffee but here the experience is terrible. I asked for Americano and they gave me glass full of hot water which is just terrible coffee flavoured. Even the taste is not the same like other Starbucks. The place is also not clean. I asked for replacement and they were so rude.. Tables are not taken care by the crew at all. How customers will get that so called Starbucks experience? Macafe is better I guess. Watch your money.. quality is gone...
