I recently had a disappointing experience at this restaurant that I feel compelled to share. We called ahead to make a reservation, but unfortunately, the staff did not ask for our name. A few minutes later, they called us back to request the reservation name, indicating a lack of organization. Upon our arrival, we were initially seated in the middle of the restaurant, only to be moved to a corner table due to a large group dining next to our table.

The server, Shiela, took our first order, but it appeared she did not hear all of our requests correctly. I had ordered Edamame as one of the first dishes and calamari, but when our orders arrived, I realized I had forgotten about it. We also ordered water, which took an unusually long time to be served. Despite having numerous waitstaff around, it felt as though our table was overlooked. It took nearly 30 minutes for our second order to arrive, and when we inquired about the delays, we were informed that they were busy. However, it was evident that other tables, particularly the large group next to us, were receiving prompt service.

When it came time to settle the bill, we were charged AED 745. We had taken advantage of their promotional offer of AED 99 per person and AED 69 for a child, in addition to ordering oysters from the à la carte menu, two waters, and one Sprite. Given that we were a party of four adults and one child, we were surprised to find that we had been charged for six large waters.

We are all working in fine dining industry, we were particularly disappointed by the level of service we received. While the food itself was good, the service left much to be desired.

I attached the photo of the receipt and the table that took long to clear!

We went in for lunch buffet, and it was an amazingly fun food experience.

The restaurant is located in Millennium Hotel, and has a seperate entrance. It has both outdoor and indoor seating.

As soon as you walk in, you are transported to a Japanese experience with a complete different ambience. The cherry blossom near the bar area, the nintendo images, the lanterns are all very reminiscent of Japanese culture.

We sat down to experience an amazing food and service experience. Ashley, was knowledgeable, and was kind enough to take us through our hot pot experience, and ordering our soups.

We ordered miso and super spicy soup. We were bought a bowl of fresh vegetables & mushrooms along with sesame sauce and a soy vinegar sauce. The cutlery used is also very authentic to Japanese cuisine.

We then had the soups bought over and kept on thr hotpot. One by one the vegetables went in and then the wagyu strips. It was fun, and tasted extremely delish. I absolutely loved it!

We also had the Fujiya salad with a homemade sauce. I couldn't stop going in for seconds. We had the beef cutlet which was crisp and yumm. Along with Japanese fried chicken. The chicken was exceptional.

We also had Teriyaki sushi which was really good.

To go with the food, we had hot Jasmine tea and some ginger ale.

For dessert we had fried banana with icecream. It was pretty novel for me, but i enjoyed the experience thoroughly.

I loved the signage for wastage, every 200 gm will be fined 50 dhs. It is a good initiative.

The staff is friendly and very hospitable. The food is amazing and it definitely on my list...

First of all I've been there many times, had anything from hot pot to wagyu and sushi and after last time I will never go back there. I visited with friends who were my guests here and was super excited to let them eat the wagyu BBQ that I liked so much. There was a promotion 89 Dhs p.p for BBQ, Australian wagyu A4 or whatever. I've had exactly this multiple times before and it was amazing. But this time and the previous time when I visited they had the same promotion but the meat that they surve you during the promotion, has nothing to do with the wagyu I know they serve when you pay full price. It's dry and tasteless, the wagyu they used to serve before was marbled like 10x more, but on this one you can't even see marbling at all. Even when I pointed this to the staff and requested for some better cuts, they kept serving the same. Exactly the same happened the previous 2 times when they had "promotions" but they at least started serving the better cuts after I asked the last time. I'm so disappointed that my guests I brought there were so unimpressed that they felt it was not worthy their money at all. Don't get me started with the staff working there pretending they don't see you when you wave at them, not all, but a few of them do this regularly. Atmosphere is ok but nothing special. From a repeated customer to never going there again after giving them a 3rd chance to...

We went on two occasions - one for Shabu Shabu hotpot and the other for ala Carte. 1. Shabu Shabu buffet wagyu beef hotpot - excellent value for aed150/pax. They provide beef, chicken and lamb together with a buffet of veg. It was a very enjoyable dinner with good ingredients, and restaurant was cool enough for us to enjoy a hot boiling pot of water in our faces. First plate of wagyu beef was top quality. But the second one was not enjoyable at all. One thing this restaurant needs to note is to RELOOK ITS WASTAGE POLICY. Even though we ordered a buffet, it does not mean the staff can promote wastage. Basically, we finished the first platter of beef, and asked for just a very small portion of extras, and even emphasised it with a small palm action. It came in its ‘small’ size and we refused it and asked for them to take it back because we didn’t want to waste it. Waitress said, “it’s ok because it’s buffet.” We disagreed and said there are starving people around and we don’t want to waste food but she insisted it’s ok (to waste it) because it’s already the small portion. Such inflexibility and zero care to the business and waste of meat. It could have been a score of 5, if not for this. 2. Ala Carte - we order Oyakodon and ramen. Ramen was good but we were thirsty the whole night. Oyakodon was not bad as well. Will return for ala Carte meals here!
