I don't understand why the staff specifically in this branch are rude and arrogant.
I tried using pick-up from the app. When I arrived in store to pick up my order, the staff told me right away that "that doesn't work here, it will only get cancelled", so I asked him how come my card has been charged and there was no notification that it was cancelled? He confidently said it will be refunded. But I doubted that. So I tried getting in line at the cashier and asked again about my pick up order. Right away he went inside the kitchen to maybe ask someone, a supervisor or manager perhaps, then another staff came out, assisted me, and processed my order.
I went back to the staff that I initially approached about the pick up order, and told him that he should have checked first if he wasn't sure about the process. (Which they should know because it's them who's implementing such ordering process). But he started getting rude with me and telling me something like "no sir i said sit down and wait for a while". WHICH IS A TOTAL LIE. Because he told me no it will not go through and will just get cancelled. He even told me it will be refunded. He never asked me to sit and wait or something. Then he started giving me attitude, even making sounds like telling me to shut up. I AM DEEPLY OFFENDED WITH THE WAY HE WAS TALKING TO ME. Then he was also saying why was I shouting at him and all, like I never shouted or even raised my voice! The whole time I was trying to keep my cool.
Clearly, this guy was very arrogant and rude. Today I was reminded why I hated going to this specific branch.
I wasn't able to get the staff's name but this happened at around 10:30pm of 13th May. It was the tall Indian/ Pakistani guy....
Read moreI went to BurJuman Tim Hortons yesterday around 5pm-ish. I wanted to order pistachio latte but the server names Shadab/Shabad (not sure which nationality exact but seemed pakistani the way he was speaking) recommended burnt caramel latte which i ordered. Without me asking whether i would like to have whipped cream on top or not, he charged me 5 aed neither he asked me which size would you like. I also m coming from F&B industry but this is not the ethical way to "upsell" the brand. Tim Hortons itself a very reputed brand but if ppl like him will continue deceiving the customers like these then the question to go to TH will definitely be a question. On top of it, when I confronted, he started being rude and lied that he asked. I was lucky enough that the couple who ordered me afterwards also experienced the same and they vouched for him that he does this to every customer. Giving 2 star bcz of the other guy who actually listened to me and made me another coffee. Hope this review will he considered and hope the guy will be briefed about how the actual customer...
Read moreTim Hortons never really disappoints! I’m usually a loyal fan of their French Vanilla — it’s always a comforting go-to. But this time, I decided to step out of my routine and try their hot chocolate… and wow, it was berry yummy! Rich, creamy, and just the right amount of sweetness — definitely worth a try if you’re in the mood for something warm and chocolatey.
One thing that still confuses me, though — why is the “small” size basically the same as a “medium”? Maybe it’s just me, but the sizing feels a bit off. Not a big deal, just something I noticed.
As for the location, it’s super convenient — literally just outside BurJuman Metro Station, Exit 2. Whether you’re rushing to catch a train or just hanging around the area, this spot is easy to reach and perfect for a quick caffeine fix or snack break.
Overall, a great experience. Clean space, quick service, and the usual Tim Hortons comfort. I’ll definitely be back… maybe next time I’ll go wild and try...
