CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE REVIEW (Not a Food Review) I'm giving back the 3 stars because Hossam, the staff who gave me the wrong sandwich, actually recognized me tonight and apologized for how the service happened previously. I appreciate that he took the initiative to approach me and the humility to apologize for what happened. Not a lot of people would do that. I think he was sincere about his apology and hopefully he learned something from the previous interaction. And he got the order right and good this time around. I'm more fan of T.H. today than yesterday. Thanks, Hossam!
I love Tim Horton's coffee and bakery products. But these past few weeks, my experience with a certain staff has not been ideal. These past few weeks, I would get my coffee or bread or both at nighttime and I would always be served by this staff (Hassam I think is his name). There was not a single time when I did not have to ask him to repeat himself because I just could not understand what he was saying. Now, most of the time I dine in. But today (Takeaway), he took my order again and the usual happened. But I decided to make this review because I just realized he gave me Grilled Cheese sandwich when I ordered Grilled Cheese Turkey sandwich. As usual, he did not get confirmation from me about my order, so I thought he got it correctly. But somehow I thought about checking the receipt before leaving the store. Lo and behold I got the wrong sandwich. And the order was a takeaway but not a single tissue/napkin was in the paper bag as well (I guess I can use the paper bag to wipe the bread crumbs off my mouth as well ) :) Terrible experience from a coffee place that's known for its coffee, baked goods and customer service. I will not stop enjoying Tim Horton's products. But if you are at Cluster R in JLT, goodluck when this guy takes and prepares your order. Minus 1 star for a huge communication skill issue. Minus another star for getting my order wrong. Minus another star for not putting in a napkin with the takeaway...

Read moreWalking into a Tim Hortons here is such a surprisingly comforting experience. Honestly, the atmosphere feels a little different than the roadside stops I grew up with—it’s a bit more polished, a touch more like a proper café, especially with the spacious seating areas they offer in the big malls. You can actually sit down, work on a laptop, and not feel rushed. But then you get to the counter, and it’s all classic Tims. The smell of the freshly brewed coffee, that signature rich blend, hits you immediately. I always order an Iced Capp, because nothing beats that thick, cold blend when it's hot outside. They also have some interesting menu additions you won’t find back home, like a Zaatar Croissant or a creamy Pistachio Latte, which is a nice nod to local tastes. It's that perfect blend of familiar comfort food and a touch of the exotic. It’s a reliable taste of an international favorite, whether you need a quick drive-thru coffee or a relaxing spot for a sweet treat like a Maple Dip donut or a box of Timbits. It brings a slice of Canadian predictability to a very...
