As you explore the restaurant, a treat for the senses awaits on the balcony, where diners are treated to a mesmerizing view of a sprawling man-made lagoon. Tables along the balcony's edge provide the perfect vantage point for a spectacular fountain show reminiscent of the iconic displays at the Bellagio hotel in Las Vegas. Timed perfectly to music, numerous fountains create intricate patterns, reaching heights of up to 100 feet, all set against the backdrop of the Burj Khalifa lighting up in a dazzling display every 30 minutes.

The culinary offerings at Tribes and Carnivore are nothing short of exceptional. The menu boasts a diverse selection of meats, including delectable options like beef, chicken, and seafood. A standout recommendation is the salmon burger, a delightful ensemble of succulent salmon on a roll, generously accompanied by avocado. The salads are equally impressive, both in variety and presentation, while platters featuring a mix of beef and poultry provide a carnivorous delight.

The beverage selection is equally thoughtful, offering a range of options from refreshing non-alcoholic choices to carefully curated alcoholic beverages. However, it's the impeccable service that truly elevates the dining experience. The staff, characterized by their warmth and professionalism, attend to every need with a genuine desire to enhance your visit. Our main server was RAM, who was a great example of perfect service and hospitality.

Breathtaking views, top-notch service, and absolutely delectable food in this resto.

Tribes Dubai Mall has, in my opinion, one of the best views of both the Burj Khalifa and the iconic Dubai Fountain as seating/table placement doesn’t feel too crowded and packed compared to other restaurants (especially those in the lower ground floor level of the Dubai Mall). My party and I were lucky to be seated towards the end of the restaurant’s al fresco dining area, away from the rest of the diners. Also, just as my party and I arrived at the resto, the light and fountain show that Emaar put on during the 2024 New Year’s Eve Celebrations was being performed. It was mesmerizing to see the light and fountain show from the vantage point offered by Tribes’ al fresco dining area.

The food here has a focus on meat/meat platters. We had an assortment of burgers for dinner, as well as a serving of the “soup of the day” (creamy potato soup), in addition to mocktail mojitos and iced tea. The burgers were very filling and delicious. I recommend Tribes’ Wagyu Burger as the burger patty is just so soft, juicy, and bursting with flavor.

Of course, this review isn’t complete without me saying thanks and complimenting our service assistant for the night, Kristell. Throughout the evening, Kristell made sure that we were satisfied with our meals and that the other members of my party were happy with their dining experience. Also, Kristell was very entertaining to talk to while ordering our meals. She’s such a kind, funny, and interesting person—Tribes is lucky to have her on their staff roster. I will definitely visit Tribes Dubai Mall again if I have any other guests/relatives visiting Dubai who would like to dine at a resto with delicious food and stunning views.
