We visited this restaurant yesterday and unfortunately our overall experience was disappointing from the start. When we arrived, the two staff members at the entrance were not welcoming, and we were told there would be a 35-minute wait. However, we were called back much earlier than that, only to be asked to wait again once we returned.

When we finally received a table, there was a very strong spotlight directly above me that caused discomfort and a headache. We requested to move, but the manager informed us that no tables were available. When we asked about a table next to us, he explained it was reserved. His exact response to our suggestion of leaving was, “I said wait, I didn’t say leave,” which felt unprofessional. We were eventually moved to another table.

The table surface and plates had an unpleasant smell, as did the water glasses. We requested wet wipes and ended up cleaning the table ourselves. The waiter then provided plastic cups for water as an alternative to the smelly glassware.

Regarding the food, I specifically asked about vegan options. I was told the only choices were two salads, plain white rice, and a lentil dish. For an Indian restaurant, this was surprisingly limited. I ordered the lentils and white rice, but unfortunately they were completely bland and lacked flavor or aroma. I ate a small portion just to avoid staying hungry. My companions ordered non-vegan dishes, and they also found them disappointing in taste.

Overall, the experience did not match the positive google reviews I had read beforehand. From the initial welcome to the cleanliness and food quality, it fell short of expectations. I hope the management takes this feedback constructively to improve the overall...

I visited Rang Indian at Dubai Mall and had a truly flavorful dining experience. We ordered a variety of dishes to share — Mutton Biryani, Mutton Sheesh Kebab, Chicken Tikka, Butter Chicken, Butter Naan, and for drinks, the Kashmiri Mojito and Berry Breeze.

The Mutton Biryani was fragrant and well-balanced, with perfectly cooked rice and tender, flavorful pieces of mutton. The spices were aromatic without being overpowering, and the portion was generous. The Mutton Sheesh Kebab was a highlight — juicy, well-marinated, and grilled to perfection, with a smoky aroma that added depth to the flavor. Both were incredibly attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely passionate about ensuring we had a fantastic time. Mr. Sunil offered excellent recommendations, was prompt in fulfilling our requests, and his warm and friendly demeanor made us feel truly valued. He went above and beyond, making our dining experience not just a meal, but a truly enjoyable occasion.
