I came here on a recommendation from a friend, I've actually been to this great pub in Hucknall twice before, but never on Thursday Pie Night ... Well what can I say... Fantastic value!! Excellent service!! I had the Steak+Ale and Stilton... Absolutely delicious!! Pie, peas, mash and gravy served between 4pm and 8pm... Chicken/ Steak &Ale/Mince & Onion/Chicken Curry/Veggie Pie/ ...£5:50 each Stilton..........£6:50 Double Pie..£8:50 Coffee is available and free but they ask you if you want to pay by putting a donation in the donation bottle... Great Idea!! There's also a good selection of beers ... We came at 4,30pm and left around 9pm and the pub was getting full from 6pm and onwards so it's advisable to arrive early... Parking is available opposite the pub...just get a voucher and it's free until the following morning... Oh!! And there's a secret garden at the rear of the pub...Brill!! The pub is much larger than it looks from the outside...A bit like Dr Who's TARDIS...If you know what I mean!!... I feel like coming here every Thursday... Come and enjoy a great meal... You will definitely be...
