By The Tank Cafe — Restaurant in Ashford

Ordered from here this morning for breakfast and I have never seen such a mess thrown into a box the fact they looked like they had been swung round a few times in a bag I asked for bacon not to be over cooked but didn't expect it to turn up almost still alive. My partner ordered and extra sausage and never got it both breakfasts missing mushrooms neither portion of chips had salt vinegar or mayonnaise on as requested. Everything and I mean everything was engulfed in beans. We have never ever had such a poorly put together breakfast. I had an omelette here before & it was really nice. However the other day I ordered a fry up and it was kind of all just thrown on a plate. The tomato juice from the plum tomatoes was swimming amongst the beans, the sausage was uncooked, the bacon was like it had been microwaved for a few minutes. To top it off it left me with a horrible stomach ache. Maybe drain the tomato’s as there is enough inside the tomato, cook the meat properly and buy bigger plates to accommodate the amount of food. Oh and my yolks because of how they were piled up had already burst and added to the sea of tomato/ bean juice. Lovely...

Walked in a lady who was clearing a table greeted me, and said morning do you know what you want to order ? Or would you like a menu? I took a menu and was advised what I'd picked was good if I wanted toast as an add on it was actually a little bit cheaper!! I went with that I had a lovely fried breakfast and cuppa. Got chatting to a chap who'd been having breakfast there for over 20 years! All the staff were friendly and helpful. Which was better than the last café not far away and better...
