The Curfew is around the corner from us and has always been an under sung pub in the town however since Mick & Co have been there, it’s gone from strength to strength. We hired the upstairs room for my other half’s birthday bash a few weeks back, there was a good 50+ people at the party and the bar team didn’t miss a beat. Amazing service & pristine drinks. I couldn’t recommend hiring this space more for intimate parties. We also had lunch here the following Sunday. A phenomenal roast lunch, with a perfect choice of alternates cooked to perfection, the mixed berry Eton Mess to finish was on point. Perfect meringues, not too sweet and a balanced compote of berries with lashings of cream. Delicious. Mick and the bar team have taken this place to where it belongs, the top of hospitality accompanied by excellently kept Guinness, Ales, Lagers & Wines.

A recent addition to the Cask-Marque Ale Trail and deservingly so. Already a clean well managed establishment serving 5 real ales, Roses Cider and sometimes the very strong Old Rosey. A modest wine list, priced mid-range. The menu includes some original vegetarian options (no Sunday roast at time of writing, but watch this space) Dog friendly. Limited street parking, but you could get lucky.

Well transformed pub in a popular busy area of bath. Has a nice interior decor and the staff there are always very friendly. Drinks are decent and there is always alot of choice. The bar snack choice is tasty and a bit different to other bars. A few minutes walk from the city centre.

I can't say enough great things about this venue, but here goes...

Location - the pub is located on the cornor of London Road and Cleveland Place, really easy to find and an easy walk from the train station.

Decor - The pub has been recently refurbished and has is very tastfully decorated in keeping with the period features. The pub feels warm and cosy without feeling cluttered.

Service - Dan and Emilly run the pub, and they are amazing. Always on hand to help, were incredibilty accomodating and provided advise throughout the planning.

Drinks - The pub is reasonably priced, the drinks were chilled with a nice selection of beers and wines. Dan and Emily were amazing and keeping our guest topped up throughout the night.

We would definately host a party here again, and would recommend them...

We hired the upstairs library space at The Curfew for my friend's hen do in May. The space is just beautiful and for just under 30 of us, it was ideal. The staff at the Curfew are fantastic. They were always available to answer my questions and super patient on the night with a large hen do taking over their space. The buffet that they laid on for us was great and the overall costs were fantastic. The space really made the hen so special for everyone and I would definitely recommend either as a space to hire or even just somewhere to...
