Whilst waiting in the queue to be served, a lady ahead of me appeared to be having difficulty completing her payment. I noticed that her phone was locked and I tried to assist by saying that the banking application needed to be open to make a payment — I had meant to say Apple Wallet, but misspoke in the moment.

The woman did not appreciate my attempt to help and told me that she knew what she was doing. I apologised and explained that I hadn’t intended to be undermining in any way. She chose not to accept the apology, which I understand and respect.

However, what followed was concerning. As one of your staff members walked past to deliver an order outside, she loudly commented “mansplaining,” clearly in reference to the situation. This remark was entirely unprofessional, inappropriate, and frankly sexist.

I would have attempted to offer the same assistance to anyone, regardless of gender.

My partner and I were made to feel extremely uncomfortable and decided to leave the restaurant immediately.

As a result, I will not be returning, and I will be advising friends and family to avoid your restaurant following...

was really excited to go here due to all the photos of amazing bagels however when we tried to go at lunchtime on a Saturday, a shop that was meant to sell bagels was not and only selling coffee till 12? It’s fairly annoying when you travel a fair amount to visit places like this that are hyped up on social media. It wasn’t only till I checked your instagram story after that it was ‘coffee and cakes till 12’. The lad in there didn’t give great service as he was chatting to his mate knowing we were looking at the menu and talking about bagels, when he had finished his conversation he then let us know that they weren’t serving bagels??. Honestly I don’t know any business where you need to check their instagram to find out if they are actually selling what they advertise....

Good food, bad service. I have been here a total of 4 times and every single time there has been a mistake with the order. Apart from the music being too loud the first few times making it difficult to make yourself heard (volume has since been reduced), when they do hear your order it doesn’t make much difference since it normally comes out wrong. The first time I asked for no cheese and they still put cream cheese on. The second, asked for a cookie but got no cookie, third asked for a cookie and got 2 (error in my favour but point still stands). And the last time I asked for a bacon bagel with sausage, cheese and egg but there was no bacon on it. The bagels taste great it’s just a shame I’ve never got what I asked for.
