Boojum is a place I always go out of my way to get everyone I am in Belfast so naturally I went yesterday evening for a bite to eat before heading to cinema. The order station was in 2 parts and placing the meat in burrito bowl was the easy part.
Came to the part to add the salad and salad and was met by a snippy little thing (with a face on her that could stop a clock and she did not want to be there at all), who had no patience at all. I asked for salsa, and bellforw I could state which one, she placed on this green snot looking thing onto my food without confirming.
With my difficulty speaking at best of times and getting my confidence to state anything. It took me a second or 2 to state which salsa I wanted. She acted as if I was the inconvenience for not accepting the error she had made on her part, she even past a comment directly to me that I "should have known what salsa I wanted before I came near the counter."
I would have understood if it was a busy evening and line out the door (errors happen) but with around 5 staff members standing behind her, it wasn't exactly busy so one of the guys behind counter took control and remade my order and took his time with me while I completed my order. Which I was thankful for.
I felt embarrassed over my speech issue that I feel like I don't want to return to Boojum AT ALL. Even being a loyal customer for quite some time.

Read moreTried to place an order on Just Eat for two chicken burritos but we wanted guacamole and jalapeños which were added extras which we were fine about and prepared to pay the extra for, but Just Eat allowed us to add the extras to the first burrito but would add them to the second one. So reluctantly we placed the order and tried calling the store to see if we could add the extras and pay over the phone, after several tries we eventually got through to them and spoke to a girl who was extremely unhelpful. We explained the situation and asked if we could pay over the phone and she advised us that we couldn’t, we then asked to speak to a manager to see if there was anything that could be done and she went away, we heard her in the background saying “he wants to speak to a manager” then they hung up. We tried quite a few times to call back but they wouldn’t answer the phone, absolutely horrendous customer service from Boojum, Victoria Square, we will not be eating or ordering from there again. I just hope their senior management see this review and take them in hand. The reason we asked to speak to the manager was because the girl seemed unsure of what she was telling us and suggested placing another order for the extra guacamole and jalapeños which was absolutely absurd. Read moreI'm a vegetarian 30 years. Ordered a vegetarian burrito whilst my partner ordered a pulled pork version. Delivery time was very quick. To my disgust and annoyance I took 1 bite into my supposedly vegetarian burrito,sensed a disgusting taste and spat the food out. Discovered that boojum had sent 2 pulled pork burritos in error. Phoned the store and whilst the lady who took my call was polite,offered profuse apologies acknowledging just how horrific this was for me and told me she was vegan so totally understood my annoyance,disgust and disappointment in what was an error on boojums part. Despite the above,no goodwill gesture was offered or mentioned. Rather I was advised to contact just eat,ask for a refund and redelivery. Order arrived 40 minutes later, we were charged full price despite the annoyance and distress caused. Not one gesture by way of free drinks,food or a goodwill gesture-eg a mere portion of nachos-nada.
