This place has always been a gem in the heart of Belfast City Centre ❤ It's had a massive revamp and looks amazing. The staff are lovely and down to earth and will truly go out of there way to do or get you anything you need. We went in today for lunch I had Christmas dinner 🍽 it was lush my friend had roast beef dinner which was beautiful. No complaints except far too much food I would thoroughly recommend 👌 the monico even if you just wanted a coffee and a chat or a quick sit down before tackling the shops again. I will definitely be back. Its been nearly a year since I've been back here and as usual I was not disappointed. We were made to feel so welcome as soon as we arrived as the staff are so pleasant and nothing is too much 😀 The menu is 1st class and the prices are unbeatable especially in town. The portions are massive and we went for the special which was philly steak covered in cheese sauce in a baguette with a choice of side £10.95. It was amazing but I forgot to take a picture 📷 😅 so you'll have to go and try it for yourself.

Had lunch and a few drinks today. Tasted good but, Jesus, the food was cold all round. I got the steak ciabattabl but the side order of garlic potatoes was barely warm. Strangely I was there for the Community Shield last year and I wished for a time machine to bring me back a year ago despite the footie result. Will only be back for the pints.

Had a brilliant night here last night 20/11/21. The staff were so accommodating in getting us a table for 6. Friendly bar staff and the door staff were so friendly, courteous and inviting. Live entertainment was excellent. We had planned to do a pub crawl but decided to just stay here as it was that good! Definitely go back and highly recommend

ok so ..I liked the bar man...very lovely good at his job ...We spent a lot of money having a quiet drink.....The bouncer was devoid of all personality. ..nasty fellow .quite surprised ..spent A LOT OFMONEYON drinks it was 8.45 ...The bouncer was incredibly rude and said we had to Leave ..he got actually quite a agressive and had at a early time leave drinks we had paid for ....I'm a 45 year old women and was shocked ...left ....big ...HUGE mistake by your bouncer with NO charisma ..you could have made A LOT of money out of us ...but because of your bouncer ....you won't ...sorry ..loved the ambience but your bouncer ( who actually was asleep with eyes shut for some of his time) was horrid . could have made a lot if money from us ...sorry won't put up with numb skull bouncers .....We are working over Xmas period with high profile names ..big mistake . .loved your bar .... good crack ....but your bouncer needs to be spoken too ..good luck for the future ..had lovely conversation with most of your clients !!!! will anything done about this ?????? I doubt very much...trying in vain for bars sake ...but very much doubt you'll do anything about your horrid bouncer with no personality and his eyes closed for most of the night!!8.45 ??? Last...

Visited today, ordered a burger and chips.. looked lovely until I cut the burger in two And took a bite. It was just warm and pink in the middle, I discretely told a member of staff who took it away to be made again, to then have the manager come back and ask me if I wanted it reheated or freshly made.. I said either as I was hungry and just wanted my food! They appeared back with the burger minus my chips and said I'd have to wait for them.. why not bring it all down together? Anyway I bit into the burger again.. STILL PINK!!!! Ate what was on the plate minus the burger and told the manager I wasn't happy with yet another pink burger. She tried to tell me this was ok to eat.. after explaining to her it would have been fine had the burger been hot! But it was infact just luke warm! She then told me I wouldn't need to pay for it! Not without causing a bit of a scene infront of other members of staff and a gentleman sat at the bar! Slamming the till shut and being rude! Will not be back here, I made no fuss regarding this at the time and she very rude to me! Maybe a little course on customer service would...
