We came here on a recommendation of a friend for the food. We were seated immediately with ease for the wheelchair, unfortunately there were no disabled toilets which caused a bit of a problem for us. My MIL just didn't drink for fear of needing the toilet. Our first waitress needed a bit of a personality transplant, and when we asked for the gluten free menu it was like we had asked her for the world. The allergens list arrived and she asked if we would like to order. I still hadn't figured out which food items were safe for me to eat at that point! The food came and it was nice, standard cafe food. It came quick and hot which was the main thing. Our second waitress was lovely and chatty. I would recommend here for something quick to fill a gap, but nothing out of the ordinary.

Really annoyed as the reason I came into this restaurant was for the sourdough bread BLT with chipotle dip and instead I got white pan bread with no dip with super watery tomatoes which made the sandwich not taste good. I asked for iced water to drink I got water with two small ice cubes dropped in it so by the time it came to drinking it the water was warm again. The item I ordered is attached to this review as it was advertised outside. Considering it was advertised out front you would expect them to adhere to it. I don’t think iced water is too difficult to make either. Will definitely not be returning to this location not worth the cash.

The reason why my friends and I went to Blinkers was that it was used as a film location for the Irish TV show "Derry Girls". We had breakfast and were all amazed how delicious the Ulster Fry was! I especially loved the potatoe bread! The picture shows the Large Fry where you get 2 of each with extra beans and mushrooms. We really liked the diner atmosphere and were pleased that the place has such a long history. The staff was also very friendly. Next time, I want to try out the rest of the menu!

We got two frys and they came out as soon as we ordered so either the chef was a mind reader or their food sits cooked which it tastes like, waitresses and a waiter were 100% without making the girl feel old it felt to me like the way my mum would get on nice and friendly but straight to the point. So the service is fantastic the prices are cheap compared to cafes near by but the food was a let down and unfortunately I wouldn't make a point of going back. I'm not slabbering about the chef or whatever but how we got 2 frys before our pots of tea is beyond me, usain bolt couldn't have got them quicker I should have said something but because the staff were so nice I didn't. They even had a hip hip hooray birthday cake for one of their workmates so again if the food was half as nice as the staff you'd be flying but unfortunelaty in my opinion only 3stars from me and that's generous,...

Food ok ish, service was pitiful, 99.9% of establishments take your drinks order first while you look at the menu, not today, it was immediate on arrival at our table 'what would you guys want to eat' my wife ordered an ulster fry but asked for extra potato bread instead of soda bread, her meal came with one piece of potato bread, when we queried where the extra potato bread was her meal was taken away and returned with soda bread and no potato bread, we queried it again and this time after my wife had eaten 2/3rds of her meal two pieces of potato bread arrived only to be unceremoniously tipped off a side plate on top of my wifes meal, i ordered my meal and three times the waitress had to come back and check what i had ordered, food was basic but waitress...
