We had thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here last month, so we were keen to return with friends to sample the breakfast choices. Urban Scullery serves really great coffee, and our whole party was equally impressed with the quality, freshness and flavour of each of our dishes.
We tried the sourdough waffles, as they came highly recommended, with bacon jam, caramelised banana, candied walnut and bacon lardons, maple syrup and yoghurt- an unusual but delicious mix of flavours and textures. The veggie ābicep burritoā with scrambled egg, spinach and toasted seeds was a great healthy option, and several of our friends had the āhappy hipsterā of toasted sourdough, clean, beautifully poached eggs, with crushed avocado, crumbled feta and tomato relish.
We canāt wait to return, hopefully to attend one of the ātasting menuā evenings, the first of which sold out so quickly we missed it - so weāll need to get organised better the next time.

The seafood chowder is outstanding. Served nice and hot, as all soup should be served but sadly is rare these days. The shrimp in particular is cooked expertly just to the edge of being cooked. You'll want to try one quickly, as the hot soup will continue to cook them.
The fish and chips also outstanding. A delicate and crunchy coating. Not greasy at all. Fish fresh and moist. The chips/fries are steak cut and lightly seasoned. Gotta eat those Irish potatoes at every opportunity š
And an unexpected nice touch- the booth had two USB charging...

Popped in for Sunday Roast and wasn't disappointed. The service was informal, friendly and personal. The stack of food on my plate was supremely delicious. Tender chicken, pork and beef, served with REAL gravy and all the trimmings. I'll be back. Urban Scullery is one of Belfast's...
