It's inside Deer's Head, without it's own individual signage. So just go inside. The seafood chowder is outstanding. Served nice and hot, as all soup should be served but sadly is rare these days. The shrimp in particular is cooked expertly just to the edge of being cooked. You'll want to try one quickly, as the hot soup will continue to cook them. The fish and chips also outstanding. A delicate and crunchy coating. Not greasy at all. Fish fresh and moist. The chips/fries are steak cut and lightly seasoned. Gotta eat those Irish potatoes at every opportunity 😁 And an unexpected nice touch- the booth had two USB charging outlets. Nice...

Without a doubt, the best quality food that you can have for breakfast, for ÂŁ10. Black pudding, home-made baked beans, bacon, sausage, home-made soda bread, home made potato bread, fried egg, mushrooms. Quality produce, maximum flavour. Local norn-irish hospitality. Looking forward to trying the Sunday Roast.... Popped in for Sunday Roast and wasn't disappointed. The service was informal, friendly and personal. The stack of food on my plate was supremely delicious. Tender chicken, pork and beef, served with REAL gravy and all the trimmings. I'll be back. Urban Scullery is one of Belfast's hidden gems.

This place is my favorite place to grab food. It got nice ambience. Nice and helpful staff. And the food is flavorful, well presented, tasty and freshly prepared. The menu also changes sometimes. So you always get to try new dishes.

We had thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here last month, so we were keen to return with friends to sample the breakfast choices. Urban Scullery serves really great coffee, and our whole party was equally impressed with the quality, freshness and flavour of each of our dishes.

We tried the sourdough waffles, as they came highly recommended, with bacon jam, caramelised banana, candied walnut and bacon lardons, maple syrup and yoghurt- an unusual but delicious mix of flavours and textures. The veggie “bicep burrito” with scrambled egg, spinach and toasted seeds was a great healthy option, and several of our friends had the “happy hipster” of toasted sourdough, clean, beautifully poached eggs, with crushed avocado, crumbled feta and tomato relish.

We can’t wait to return, hopefully to attend one of the “tasting menu” evenings, the first of which sold out so quickly we missed it - so we’ll need to get organised better the next time.
