Visited 19/12/2023 with my friend. Was very disappointed with the service after my food was delayed around 15 minutes after my friend's food had been served. When I questioned this, there was a rush from the waiters/staff to try and get my food which appeared to have been omitted from the order. Once the food was served it was cold which was very disappointing. When I asked was it supposed to be served this way: the manager in operation stated "in Japanese cuisine its custom for food to be served at different times" there was no real reflection on how they could have improved the service nor any real accountability taken. The manager then did not take my plate but rather came back with a separate warm plate of chicken and just basically planted it on the table and walked away. This is definitely not the dinner experience I was used to last time I visited wagamama and it was actually downgrading. In Japanese custom I'm absolutely certain that there is politeness and good manners; last night I was served the food like I was a dog.
Furthermore I'd like to say that the Team Lead (brunette girl) was able to resolve my issue partly as she cancelled my order from the bill. I'm sorry I did not get the manager's name but I was so disgusted by their actions. There was a serious attitude problem and even upon leaving he still didn't have the decency to apologise for his actions.
I would hope to attend Wagamama again but not if they're employing managers with this attitude and demeanour in the workplace. I hope no one has to go through this type of...

Team lead was over heard saying she was unsure of what to do during the fire alarm and somewhat rude in her delivery of information the little that we received on the evening in question. A lot of the staff unsure what to do or tell customers when the incident happened. And didn't communicate with customers once we reached outside. Hard to differentiate between Team Leads, servers and black bands. The young woman tall, short spiked hair, fantastic make up (white line across nose) was a fantastic seater and server. Made sure we were okay and checked back on us during our meal. Very active on the floor compared to a lot of other FOH. A lot of staff but service was very slow. 5 people at the bar and drinks not being served within the recommended time frame set out in server handbook. Go easy on the sichimi on the chilli squid, it was too heavy handed and doesn't require that much. Dressing and pickles missing from Katsu, carrots for the mini noodler's dish were sopping wet and tasted very off (possibly sitting in water or cross contaminated with other vegetables in situ). It wasn't an overly busy service and yet dishes were left on the pass for a really long time, with many staff walking past the pass without running food, it wasn't busy enough to have set staff running for the evening so there were many opportunities to run...

The concept is flawed every time I decided to give Wagamama a second chance I am always severely disappointed. The food was lukewarm, tasteless and bland. It always felt that the chefs are on a training day and the customers are the test subjects.
I order the new ramen on the menu which states the broth was a richer chicken broth; however, it was the same broth as the normal ramen a complete disappointment. We ordered three different mains dishes and we were all disappointed with the quality of the food received! Wagamama is living on borrowed time which is purely based on the franchise name.
Broken dish I was surprised that Wagamama was using broken dishes, this is something I would expect from a street vendor in Asia.
Toilet The toilet was at an acceptable standard but did not had any toilet paper.
Staff area At the rare there were two sets of sitting area which was used as the staff rest area. There were pizza box and other stuff that made the area looks very unprofessional. Staff was sleeping/ resting on the table on their break in plan view of the entire restaurant.
