Positive points: Staff were friendly, games were fun Unfortunately there are far more negatives though ... Our first game was axe throwing. There are 2 lanes for this and we were directed to one by the entrance that already had people in it. Staff member on that lane said they were running late so we should come back in a bit. Walking away, we saw another axe throwing lane with no customers in .. asked the staff member if we could use that one and hey presto, we could. Why did neither the reception staff or the lady in the first axe lane not suggest this? Next up was Crazier Golf upstairs. Staff told us to pick a ball, either soft or hard, apparently it didn't matter which. Until you reach the 'hole' that tells you you need a soft ball (think mini basketball) so back to the reception hut to get soft ones. One hole missing despite us searching for it, no instructions on another (you need them for sure) and 2 others with broken parts. Last for us was Shuffle Board, luckily we knew how to play already so just got on with it. Overview - Music so loud you have to shout to each other to be heard, this is worse upstairs while playing golf. Staff are so used to it they talk at a normal level meaning our conversations consisted of us asking them to repeat everything a few times. Games are crammed in. There is literally no space to stand and watch or put your bags/umbrellas, especially upstairs where they presumably have removed one golf hole to install virtual darts. When people are playing darts, you can't get to one of the golf holes without asking them to move. Also, the beer pong game downstairs is so close to the axe throwing, we constantly had to stop as their ball came into our area. There was nowhere to sit as every table was reserved (Sat afternoon). We had some time between our games and couldn't sit down anywhere. If you are a wheelchair user, do not even attempt it.
So, for us, it's a one and done. The 2 worst things are the noise level of the music - there's just no need to have it so loud. And how they have crammed everything in to try and earn a little bit more money. It's detrimental to the experience for sure. Could be so...

I donât usually leave reviews, but our recent bottomless brunch experience at Boom Battle Bar was unacceptable from start to finish.
From the moment we arrived, the waitress serving us had a serious attitude. She seemed visibly irritated throughout the service, barely acknowledged us, and made us feel like we were an inconvenience rather than paying customers. Things went from bad to worse in the last 20 minutes when she dropped drinks all over us, then stormed off and threw her iPad in frustration.
We raised this with the manager, only for the same waitress to come back over, give us a sarcastic apology and a dirty look. Completely unprofessional. We escalated this to a supervisor, who unfortunately turned out to be her friend. Instead of addressing the issue properly, she accused us of shouting â which was simply not true. No one at the table had even raised their voice.
Eventually, we spoke to the manager again, who thankfully took our complaint seriously and refunded our brunch. He apologised for the staffâs behaviour, which was appreciated, but honestly, there needs to be a serious look into the team and their training. If you canât handle customer service without attitude and sarcasm, then maybe itâs not the right job.
To top it all off, the food was awful â three of us ended up throwing up after, and another person left with stomach cramps. Thatâs not just bad service â thatâs a potential food safety issue.
Safe to say, I wonât be returning and wouldnât recommend this place to anyone looking for...
Read moreCame here for the interactive darts & karaoke. The darts had two small lanes which is fine but if theres another large group in the other lane its abit of a tight squeeze! As for the darts themselves we were places in lane 2 and spent half of our time having to manually press the darts back into the space they hit as it wasnt picking them up on the screen. Not sure if its an old dart board if its a fault but having to waste 5 minutes each round trying to make sure we get our points was pretty frustrating!
As for karaoke, we were told there was a little delay which is fine! Got in there about 5 minutes later than we were meant to and we already had around 10/15 minutes taken off out karaoke time? No explanation as to why. As for the karaoke itself, there was a constant hight pitched screeching noise coming from the speakers which made it hard to hear the music / enjoy the music and the bass was far too loud to the point you could feel it in your chest! The idea is great but execution is awful unfortunately!
As for actual staff, the staff we in countered were all pleasant however they did all seem stressed/overworked and understaffed - out of the whole place we only saw 4 staff which is pretty poor for a Saturday night where its bound to get busy!
Overall experience 2/5 - too expensive for something that isnât worth it! Could find better darts in a pub and karaoke...
