WARNING!

Beautiful food review ahead!

This restaurant is a stereotypical American diner but without all the greasy food.

There are no complex menus. Perfect for them indecisive people who spend forever choosing what to eat.

You place the self order at your own leisure and no time in wasted getting you seated as its all self seating on comfortable benches.

As a vegetarian you need to opt for the 'veggie sandwich with grilled cheese'. The name is deceptive. It's actually a hot burger bun with grilled mushrooms tomatoes onions lettuce with optional pickles and jalapenos with spicy hot sauce. Fantastic news, they don't charge you for optional extras so go wild when ordering.

Definitely recommend a side portion of Cajun fries, the most addictive sides I've tasted, but I would recommend the small size as they always give you what seems to be double the quantity and it's perfect to feed two.

The Oreo milkshake is thick and a perfect texture. It has plenty of Oreo biscuits for a strong flavour and fuller texture. But it's heavy so drink slowly, otherwise you find yourself struggling to finish your burger.

The food is served quickly via self collection. You're given an order number on your receipt. Best thing whilst you wait is the unlimited supply of roasted salted peanuts still in the shells. I made a right mess everywhere but hey, they tasted good!

Price is reasonable, however the side order of fries are somewhat overpriced for regular size just under £5. If ordering the veggie sandwich then I'd recommend ordering 2x. The burger is small.

There is no on site free parking unless travelling after 6pm where there is street parking which gets busy quickly behind broad st. Otherwise there is ample paid car parks within a short walking distance.

Overall, this was a great experience and I was unable to fault the staff or restaurant.

I would indeed recommend all vegetarians and...

First visit here and can say it was a good one.

My only gripe is the ordering and paying system, it takes long and it was painful watching the staff scrambling to do all the things needed to run the store, while waiting to order.

Once greeted, the lady that served us was really nice and friendly and answered any questions with ease.

The amount of people waiting for food was pretty high and the noise of food production, music and people chatter made it hard for the servers calling out order numbers to be heard (it would be more effective to have a numbered display board that flashes/buzzes once orders are ready. It must be so annoying for staff to have to try and should loud enough for a whole store to hear them.

Once order arrived I was impressed with the lack of plastic and foam packaging. The food was as ordered and tasted great. Only downside to the food was the spicy coating - it's extremely salty which spoiled them. That aside the burger was great, well cooked and put together well.

The store itself was clean, but could have been better if tables were cleared quicker.

Overal, a good experience and will definitely go here again when I...

Not going to be coming back anytime soon. Let me tell you why.

For a spend of £15-£18 there are much better places. McDonalds, Smashburger, Burger & Sauce, Nandoes all have better food for a lesser price. In these places it will cost you likely less than that for a meal. You get delicious fries, burgers, anything and usually very well made.

For £18 I got a paper bag with a burger that had a very cold bun and overly chewy beef. One side of it was absolutely caked in sauce so much it was really messy to eat and ingredients constantly slipped out. All of this was wrapped in a foil like I were having a packed lunch.

Then over that foil-wrapped burger was a cup of fries and a ton more fries dumped on top. As for the drink it was great but that's a given since it's dispensed from a freestyle machine.

The flavour was fine but nothing great. It had the All In ingredients and tasted nice and the chips were fine too but the price is a huge let down for me along with how the burger was served. Would have much rather gone to Nandoes or Smashburger.

For a £8-10 meal, great if the burger is served properly. For the £15-18 mark...

This is one of my worst experience in five guys. Horrible taste with my Bacon cheeseburger. The Burger just kept falling apart while I was eating coz the Burger wasn't even assembled properly. The meat tasted like my uncle's shoe, old and dry, and smelled a bit weird. That Burger I'm sure wasn't made to order since how bad the texture it was. The cheese wasn't even melted in my cheeseburger and it came cold. I swear if I've ordered more chips the US is going to declare war on me. Every single fry was soggy and soaked in oil. Some of the fries were not even salted. Given I've paid for my food here, I expected some quality food. Yet, I'm greeted with pig slop that has been in the oil tank for decades. Do not recommend.
