Chris's Cafe — Restaurant in Birmingham

We stopped in here for breakfast as the cafe we had planned to visit was shut. The staff were polite and friendly. Service was fast and the food was delicious. Full English breakfast with 2 sausages, 2 rashers of bacon, toast, mushrooms, beans, hash brown, fried egg and a coffee or tea was £9.50. It filled up quickly in here almost as soon as we were seated but they also do takeaways. Nice big window for people watching. If I return to Birmingham I know where I'll be going...

good and affordable option if you have some wait time for your bus. basic good. radio music playing loud. good friendly staff. coffee + muffin combo at 3.50 £ about half price than all the bars inside the coach station next door. small cafe with very very picturesque customers. cash preferred. not suited for vegans, no soy milk. not good for who dislikes english cooked breakfast (bacon, beans, eggs, sausages etc...)....

Took some advice from the lads on site to try out Chris cafe. Will not be doing that again in future.

As polite as the staff were and the prices were low. The classic phase 'you get what you pay for came to mind'

Breakfast felt unloved, rushed out and was a combination of temperatures ranging from cold mushrooms to burnt toast.
