City Kebab's — Restaurant in Birmingham

Absolutely awful. Read the reviews and should've just not gone but decided to because it was closest to the coach station. I got 2 pieces of chicken and chips for £3.50 which was meant to be a meal so I asked for a canned drink but he said it didn't include a drink although it clearly said it did on the menu so immediately was ripped off (also their justeat page says that it does). I'd paid before being given my food else would've gone elsewhere. Was given a tiny amount of chips and the chicken was vile somehow both dry and oily. I am feeling sick and shouldn't have risked eating it. In my short time in the shop had someone else complain about being given a tiny amount of chips (they were not given more) and another literally put their meal in the bin it was so disgusting (they were not refunded). This visit took place at about 6pm. I thought 'give this place a chance to mildly redeem themselves' and asked for the drink again at the end out of principle, and genuinely the guy had crossed out the drink bit on the menu during my time there! I said how about in good faith give it to me and he said no. Never been to a place so awful and gross and stingy before. Came here earlier to pick up food for a friend whilst ordering for myself, had 2 separate orders - as much as I understand the shop was almost full of people from a night out, the rude attitude I had from one of the guys behind the counter was disgusting. I ordered a burger meal for my friend, told them I was finding out whether they wanted salad and sauce in their food and I would be just a second (they weren’t busy at this point) and the guy eventually argued back at me telling me I wanted it plain even though I said “it MIGHT be plain, let me just find out quickly”… all whilst apologising about the inconvenience. I then told him I wanted a simple lettuce and mayo on the burger, to which he launched the tongs back into the lettuce in a very angry/rude manner, he had zero patience despite me trying to talk to him. I also work in a very demanding customer facing job and understand getting frustrated, but the way it was handled was appalling. If I could rate the customer service of this experience, it would be less than 1 star with the sheer attitude I received.

The food on the other hand was okay at best. Could have done with more chips instead of a small amount swimming in an ocean...

Maybe good in the day,but at night stay clear the person serving laughs at you,you get what he feels fit to give you,ok i asked for large fish and chips,got two scabbie small fish ,asked could I have donnor fresh nan with mayo ,no don't do them after 9pm,ok that was for flat mate so they don't believe in doing certain food after nine ,so can I have small donnor salad,mayo I got small donnor with nothing,so my flat mate got dry donnor think go down Stratford road next time where you made more welcome this place is better to be avoided, as like me and my mate finish work at midnight only to have the Mick taken out by some idiot never mind there are more friendly places iñ Birmingham but take it from me stay...
