I visited the F1 Arcade recently after months of planning an excitement. We booked far in advance as required as it always seems to be fully booked at short notice.

The first issue with this is that you have to pay in full before you go - so if you have a party of a few people like I did for my 25th birthday, I had to pay for all of them in advance. And you know how it goes - not everyone turns up, some people don’t come at short notice so you lose your deposit.

Out of the 6 people we had booked, we only 3 actually came and F1 arcade did little to accommodate it which was a little disappointing - we asked if we could use it as a bar tab which they declined. They just offered us more race time - but as there were 3 of us it meant one person did 16 races and the other 2 did 6 - so hardly fair.

The races were less than 5 minutes long too - so hardly enough time to get a feel for the car, circuit and enjoy the race.

We were expecting the food and drink to be expensive, so I wasn’t exactly shocked. But I did expect the portions to be much, much larger. We spent a total of £36 on 3 small plates which consisted of 2 small tacos, 5 halloumi fries and 3 chicken strips. They tasted great - but I would rather have went to a proper restaurant over the road and paid less.

Atmosphere is great if you’re after a nightlife vibe. Music is very loud and there’s a lot of flashing lights so it’s not exactly an ideal simulator environment - so don’t come here expecting an F1 experience - it’s literally an arcade as advertised.

In summary, I would come again but I would have second thoughts about order food and drink from here - and something needs to be changed for the...

"An Unforgettable Experience at F1 Arcade Birmingham!"

If you're looking for an adrenaline-fueled, high-energy experience, F1 Arcade in Birmingham is the place to be! From the moment I walked through the door, I was immediately immersed in the world of motorsport. The atmosphere is electric, with state-of-the-art simulators that make you feel like you're behind the wheel of a real F1 car, racing through iconic tracks from around the world.

What really stood out during my visit was the amazing service provided by the staff, especially Kyle and Reiss. They were welcoming, friendly, and genuinely passionate about making sure everyone had a fantastic time. Kyle took the time to walk us through the different racing options and gave us some great tips on how to get the most out of the experience. He really knows his stuff and made sure we were all comfortable with the simulators before we started racing.

Reiss was equally amazing, showing us the ropes and offering some fun, lighthearted banter while ensuring we were all having a great time. His enthusiasm was contagious, and it made the entire experience feel more personal. It’s clear that both Kyle and Reiss truly care about creating an unforgettable experience for every guest.

Whether you're a seasoned racing fan or a complete beginner, F1 Arcade caters to everyone. The simulators are incredibly immersive, the atmosphere is buzzing, and the staff, especially Kyle and Reiss, make the experience so much more enjoyable.

A massive shoutout to the whole team at F1 Arcade Birmingham for making our visit absolutely epic. If you haven't been yet, what are you waiting for? Trust me, it's worth...

Booked for one of our Kia Christmas party's. The evening was good overall, the bar is lovely and the atmosphere was great however we were majorly let down by the hospitality/ food. We had pre paid for a food and drink package for 5 people but the food that was served was barley enough for 2 let alone 5. We were under the impression more food was coming but nothing came. When raised with a member of the team someone called Molly came over to us and to be completely honest she was very condescending and abruptly said we should have had more food but because we had waited until now to ask, the kitchen had stopped preparing it. It honestly felt like she was purposely trying to infuriate us, others heard the interaction and all said the same. Obviously this shocked us as we had pre paid for the food so we thought it would come out without us having to ask for it! This did but a dampener on the evening and we were about to make some more bookings but the cost cannot be justified when 5 people are left sharing enough food for 2 people at a push. To make it worse a different member of the team was trying very hard to resolve the issue for us but Molly kept taking over the conversation and in the end we had to part ways as she seemed more bothered about going on her phone replying to messages then speaking to us. At this point we decided it was time to leave so we went elsewhere to get some food as we were all...

This will not be a full review of the place as I was just there to try out the F1 Arcade rigs and have a drink or two. Service: The service delivery at the place was really good. The place serves alcohol and from what we encountered, it would be wise to carry your ID with you. We went there at night so take my advice with a grain of salt(Website says under 18s are allowed till 8pm). Drinks: I had the Zombie cocktail from their menu (hopefully it is there when you go too), you should try it. The first part of the menu is F1 themed which is neat if you are into that. They also have the normal drinks you would find from other places as well. The F1 rigs: The F1 rigs were a fun experience as a whole. The rigs are set-up as simulations with real time reaction to in-game physics, you get to feel every turn and embankment, every tug from an acceleration and every push forward from braking. The arcade system and costs are fully explained on their websites, I avoid talking about them as they might change. You can go as a group and you get access to two rigs where you can race against each other as two teams (As far as I know you can’t pick your team mates, selection is randomised by the system). Overall I enjoyed my time at the arcade and would surely visit again given the opportunity.
