Worst Restaurant in Birmingham - Absolutely Disgusting!

I had the misfortune of dining at Food Republic, Birmingham, and it was the WORST experience I've ever had in any restaurant! First of all, the hygiene standards are absolutely disgraceful. The food was inedible, bland, and shockingly bad — people were literally puking in the hallway! The staff couldn't even be bothered to clean it up properly, and they continued to serve without care. The lack of cleanliness here is stomach-turning.

The owner himself was an absolute joke — rude, inattentive, and with no regard for customer service or hygiene. The audacity this place has to overcharge customers by £1-1.5 EVERY time, citing some vague "service charge" or "minimum order policy" which is completely illegal unless a printed receipt is provided. When questioned, they give you nothing but attitude. Avoid this scam of a place!

To make matters worse, there was a recent Instagram post showing a pigeon inside the shop, sitting on top of the shawarma machine, pecking at the meat that was later served to customers! This level of negligence is unacceptable and should raise alarm bells for anyone who values their health. I wouldn’t be surprised if this place gets shut down for its absolute lack of hygiene and customer respect.

very bad experience with Food republic. very low quality food. very rude staff. Never ever buy from them again. I have ordered 2 full peri peri chickens for home delivery, I paid £16, the 2 chickens came to me broken into many many burned parts, it is very obvious that they are left over from the other clients plates and collected and grilled again and they use them for my order..I put all the order in the bin. I phoned them to give them my feedback, the rude guy shouted and screamed with very rude words and close the line while I am talking to him. I called him again to say that is not good from him to do that with a client and he should listen to clients feedback and improve his service... Imagine what he did, ,, He said go go, do not call again , then closed the line again while I am talking to him

I could not give him any star.. I would like to make a complaint against them but do not know where can I do...

Me and my partner are regular customers and usually never have any issues with staff. Today we ordered two quarter pounder burger’s and chips. I noticed the server itching his ear and wiping on his clothing 2/3 times so I approached him and politely asked if he could use hand gel or wash his hands as I had seen him wipe his fingers on his clothing and it made me uncomfortable as he is handling our food. He agreed to wash his hands, few minutes later her started belittling me saying he doesn’t touch our food with his hands so it doesn’t matter and he said I probably shower once a week, I’m dirty and he said me and my partner probably take drugs. His ego was obviously bruised by me addressing his hygiene whilst handling our food. He was argumentative, rude and disrespectful. The other staff are amazing but this man does not know how to take any criticism no matter how...
