I visited Juices 4 Life at 8:15pm with my mom, brother and cousin sister, and it turned out to be the perfect spot for a late-night drink and dessert. Their menu offers a great variety, including milkshakes, fresh fruit smoothies, milk cakes, mojitos, and mocktails.

I ordered their mango and guava smoothie, one of their best sellers, for myself and my mom. It was fresh, refreshing, and packed with flavor—definitely worth trying. I also got a kunafa chocolate bar and a Kinder Beano milk cake. The kunafa bar is always a must-buy for my wife since she absolutely loves it. My younger brother couldn’t wait and devoured his milk cake right away, which speaks for itself.

Absolutely Vile – A Waste of Money and Taste Buds

I ordered two milkshakes from Juices for Life on Ladypool Road—a Strawberry Guava and the so-called “King Special”—and I genuinely wish I hadn’t bothered. Both were utterly disgusting. The Strawberry Guava tasted like a confused mess of artificial sweetness and sourness, and the King Special? More like the Clown Special. Thick, claggy, and completely undrinkable.

It’s almost impressive how something as simple as a milkshake could be ruined so thoroughly. There was no balance, no freshness—just a gloopy, sickly-sweet disaster in a cup. I expected indulgence, flavour, and quality. What I got felt more like a punishment.

If this is what they call “Juices for Life,” I’d hate to see what they serve if they stop trying....
