Ordered food for take away, waited inside the restaurant with the token, the lady handed over my order to someone else without even checking the token. Waited there for almost an hour to get my order. It's unacceptable behaviour from the staff. You print tokens for a purpose and if your staffs don't even know that basics whats the service as a customer I should expect from you guys?
When asked about this to the lady, she replied, I called out "takeaway" some lady showed up and collected. Then I asked her did you check the token or ask for the token number, then she is repeating that, no but I called out for takeaway and some lady collected from her. Just because of this staffs irresponsible behaviour I had to wait for 1hr, with my baby and wife waiting for me in my car. I ordered takeaway for a reason, the staff should have the basic sense to understand that. And not even the guy who took my order tried to speak to me regarding this.
Oh and finally I was offered a freebie during this conversation, and now when I checked the package, It's just my order, she was trying to soothe me Just to save her face. Damn your freebie, I came there to be served not for your freebie after drowning your customer.

Won't be back to Pepe's until you give your staffs proper training. Being Sorry will not always make it up to the mistakes.

Read moreOrdered my family meal to break fast for delivery via deliveroo, status of the order didn’t change for over an hour, by the looks of the status of the order, they were preparing my order for the entire time!
Fast time came in and still nothing, no status change on the order, called the shop over 50 times for an update, no answer or went straight to voicemail!!!
In the end, after fasting, I had to drive to the store (not local to me) to get a status update on my order and collect it in person. No applogies from the staff, no consideration for the inconvenience they’d caused, just handed me my order 15 minutes after I’d got there. It’s just not good enough.
I contacted deliveroo when I got home to make a complaint and they washed their hands off the issue, “as the store delivers their deliveroo orders direct, you will need to take the issue up directly with the store”! If they’d answer their damn phone, I would!!!
I will be contacting Pepe’s HO to make a formal complaint.
My mother is diabetic and due to this Pepe’s lack of care, her sugar levels dropped and she was very unwell and unable to eat the meal I had ordered for her! A separate meal had to be prepared for her from home due to Pepe’s erdington atrocious...
Read moreI have ueds Pepe's a couple times of just eat and they were a bit late on delivery but the good food made up for it. But yesterday I decided to walk in and order my food for collection. I placed my order at 18.07 and was told that my food would be 15/20 mins so I went and waited in the car until after 18.20 went back in the store waited for my food and waited and waited I waited so long I collected my food at 18.54. not once did any member of staff apologize for the delay or even acknowledge the fact I was still waiting. But it gets even better I collect my food drive home which isn't far get the kids dinner out and mine and guess what the gourmet burger is burnt black and they also forgot my wife's half a chicken meal. So I call up pepes and tell them they forgotten my half chicken I get told to come collect it! They eventually 20/25 mins later get the chicken delivered to me at home and the driver was apologetic but a little to little too late. Pepe's messed up big times definitely lost a customer forever.
