We happened upon this place for a late lunch it was relatively deserted but open and happy to receive us.

Fantastic range of pizzas including some specials on the board along with a delicious non-alcoholic apparativo that really went fantastically with the rich barata heart I had on my pizza.

Prices considering where this restaurant was were actually very reasonable especially considering the size and quality of the pizza I received the wife had a pepperoni I had a triple pepperoni special which I only pray is on the menu again next time we go which by the way we will definitely be going again.

Staff will helpful the only downside was that the hostess put us at the table closest to the entrance to the toilets which I understand someone has to sit at but considering we were only one of three tables in the entire restaurant confused to me slightly.

However that being said we went there for pizza we had pizza it was very good pizza.

Before leaving a property I told the waiter that took my money and bill that he could keep the rest of the change which equated to about 60 pence however he was still extremely and sincerely thankful for this I made a joke of it and said it's only 60p he replied with yes but it's still a nice thought I obviously left 10% on the table...

My son ended up with food poisoning. I’m not sure about the cleanliness/hygiene and whether the staff adhere to hygiene protocols?!

We dined here last bank holiday weekend in the evening. Firstly the pizzas were larger than the plates?! Obviously because the crust hangs off the edge, it’s impossible to cut with the pizza cutter. The table we sat on was dirty, so asked for it to be cleaned. It should have been done once the last diners left?! What’s up with the wall on the right side of the entrance to the restaurant?! Looks unfinished! It was like that the last time we dined here, nearly a year ago! Then I witnessed the lady making my drink, put her hands into box of mint and then fully put her fingers in my drink. She saw that I had seen her do this?! Are there no utensils for this?! Quite disgusting!!

Told the waiter to add truffle oil to each pizza, couldn’t smell it or taste it! We have a takeaway regularly from Bennett’s hill, so know what to expect.

Do you want diners to come back here?!

Not a great experience this time!

Spent £69 and ended up with...

I honestly can't hype this place up enough. One of the best eateries I've been to in recent years. Pre-booked & popped in on a Saturday evening after a movie.

Service was fantastic, interacted with around 3-4 staff & all were very welcoming & hospitable, including the young lady who kindly offered to take a picture of us when my wife kept making me retake selfies!

The pizza was absolutely superb, which is obviously the most important thing. They had their own beer so I had two pints of that and it was spot on. The prices are very reasonable for what you're getting and where it's located, which is probably why it was very busy.

If you really had to force a negative out of me, it's that I don't generally like sitting so close to strangers in a restaurant, but honestly, that was such a minor issue, and more of a me problem.

I have to give credit to my wife for finding this place. I'll be back, either here, or checking out their other...

4.5*/5* ----- But as you can't do half stars, I've rounded to 5 stars Excellent atmosphere and warm welcome. The pizza menu is great with lots of creative ideas for pizza toppings, though I was terribly old fashioned and just went for Triple Pepperoni. The service, when you could get it, was lovely and all the servers are cheerful and happy to help. The loss of half a star is just because we had to wait an age to get our waiter's attention. In fact, we were planning on desserts but he got sucked into a pizza-oven vortex for so long that we lost the "sweet window" so signalled across the room to someone to just get the bill. I approve highly that a "service charge" is not presumptuously added to the bill (yes we did tip as the food was excellent). Would definitely return.
