We arrived 10 mins early was seated efficiently which showed promise. We ordered 3 drinks and a jug of water at 5.40pm. Approximately 10 mins later we ordered food. The restaurant was busy but there were empty tables, and during the time we were there a large proportion of the tables left. After around 30 mins we queried if we were getting our drinks to which we were politely informed the bar was very busy. 5 or so minutes later a member of our party went to the bar and was served almost immediately. 45 mins after being seated our food came, but we still had no drinks. When we queried this again the waitress reiterated the bar staff were busy, when I pointed out it was a warm sunny day and we were seated next to the window and could we get the water we had requested the staff member said that "she shouldn't ' but would. Eventually after nearly an hour the 3 drinks we had ordered arrived, whist they were correct and nice, one hour is too long to wait for drinks in a hospitality setting. The food we had received was mediocre at best, the cheese on the burger was not melted in any way and the burger itself had no heat to it suggesting it hadn't been cooked and delivered to the table efficiently. My friend had the dirty 'fries' which was essentially regular fries with a tea spoon of kidney beans on the top for an additional fee, and again both other meals were barely warm.

Our intention when booking was to have a main and possibly dessert with a few drinks prior to our concert. The speed of the service at the restaurant meant this did not happen, and also meant we spent less money on your establishment due to shockingly poor service. Whilst staff were polite they were not overly helpful, they were also not offering basic Customer service such as supplying the table with cutlery and sauces without customers having to ask. My previous experience of P and P has always been positive, however based on this experience we would not rush to return.
