Me and my friends attended on a Saturday for a bottomless brunch. I anticipated we may be slightly late so emailed to ask if we could move the brunch forward 30 minutes however no one responded. We managed to arrive at our original time and drink and food orders were taken promptly. The food was nice and the variety of drinks kept everyone happy. Service was prompt. Our brunch was due to finish at 3.30pm so the waitress came over at 3pm and said the brunch is finishing soon so can I get you some more drinks then I'll take your final order after that. Throughout the brunch we had been finishing our drinks in around 5-7 minutes. The waitress arrived at 3.15pm with our last drinks then promptly took payment for the brunch. We still had 15 minutes left of our 90 minutes, which we believed we could have easily had one more order. I have been to most of the bottomless brunches in Birmingham and also other places in the UK and usually the last order is taken at the end of the brunch. When we questioned this, we were advised that our time started from when we started drinking, so my friend stated that we placed our drinks order at 2pm and didn't start drinking til after 2pm if that was the policy and the waitress said "well I took your order at 2pm." The argument we had was that we still had 15 minutes left of our brunch and they were taking our payment trying to get us off the table before the 90 minutes was up. I feel we had a completely valid point and something that I have never come across at any other bottomless and that we asked politely, yet we were met with attitude from the waitress. Everything up until this point was great. My recommendation would be that if you want to go to a bottomless brunch where you are actually given the whole 90 minutes as promised on the t&c's then to attend elsewhere!

Rather nice bar/restaurant, with a large outdoor area. I feel the focus is more on the drinks, and perhaps pizza of the food options, but the food was still fantastic overall. Starter- popcorn cauliflower which we shared. You get quite a large portion of this and one was more than enough for 2 of us. The cauliflower was juicy on the inside, crisp on the outside, and really tasty. I would recommend this highly. For mains we had the halloumi and a Margherita pizza- the pizza was great, really tasty marinara and not greasy or stodgy. The halloumi was nice even if it was slightly too salty as a whole dish. Drinks were quite nice, the jungle bird maybe a bit too much campari for our tastes? The first sip was lovely but the bitter aftertaste ruined it. The mules were nice although I would have preferred them to be made with rum. They had ran out of strawberry daiquiri which was a shame. The Hugo was nice enough but I would have preferred it a bit sweeter. Dessert brownie and posset were excellent. Wasn't a fan of the copper tables- there was a strong metallic smell emanating from them which was almost sweaty. The toilets also could have been quite a bit cleaner and loo roll was in short supply.

Came here with some friends for drinks. Easy to order via the QR code (do watch out for the service charge which is automatically added - this can be removed by tapping on it. We’re happy tipping but not each time we get a round of drinks nor before getting our food/drinks). You do accumulate points which gives you some money off - this is great. Service is very very quick. Seating inside and outside, big screen outside. Drink prices are average for the area, you can get half a pint or a whole jug which is great. We grabbed a pizza just to try it out: OMG amazing pizza, sooo much cheese. The crust was quite rustic and just lovely. We ended up also getting some beef loaded fries which were also excellent (lots of meat). Also grabbed some hummus which was tasty but the bread provided was a little bit pathetic (like a cut up limp tortila). On a positive note they provide all the food on take out containers so it’s easy to take leftovers home and reduce food waste. Overall we’ll be coming back for more pizza! Yum!

My friend and I came to The Destillery in Birmingham for a Gin School on 9th July and we had a fabulous time. It is worth of every penny. For £35 each we got a glass of gin on arrival, pizza and great, attentive tutor Jack, showing us what to do and keeping an eye that we get it right. It was nice to see somebody who learnt on the job and has got a fantastic knowledge about gin making and is entertaining at the same time.

At the end, you also take gin you made home. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and will definitely do it again, to try different botanicals.

In general I come to the pub once/twice in a month to meet with my friend, I do not live in Birmingham, it's worth of journey. The look of the pub is very pleasant and we can sit there for ages forgetting about the time.

Atmosphere is very welcoming and members of staff are friendly and always have smile on their faces, what you don't see everywhere these days. I had particural experience with Sam and Jack and must say, they have been...
