On this occasion, I had the pleasure of savoring their chicken, ham, and leek pie, and it was nothing short of exceptional. The golden pastry crust enveloped a generous filling of tender chicken, succulent ham, and perfectly cooked leeks. Each bite revealed a harmonious blend of flavors, with the savory notes of the meat complemented by the subtle sweetness of the leeks. The pie was flawlessly executed, with a flaky crust that melted in my mouth and a filling that was both hearty and comforting.

Read moreIf you like your craft beer, then The Wolf is definitely a good stop on your travels. Just on the edge of the city centre of Birmingham a stone throw away from Birmingham Snow Hill station, The Wolf is a very quirky independent bar with their specialism in continuingly changing beers on offer and their fully loaded toasties and pies. I had been past it for years but never managed to visit it until now. The beauty about the beers here is that they are all available to take out on cans.
I ordered a lamb, mint and potato pie. It came within 5 minutes of me ordering it. It was well filled and tasted great. The prices for this and the drinks on offer are reasonable given where we are. Service was efficient and friendly. I also had the chocolate torte to finish off with vanilla ice cream which was a nice and sweet treat. The dessert was also vegan. The ice cream is hand crafted by Odi + Moo.
I would recommend a visit to here if you are passing by. The interior itself is beautiful with different bits and bobs to take your interest to. As I went on a Tuesday, it was 50% off all food. Go on a Thursday and you get 20% off lol cans and bottles. They even do roasts...
Read moreWent to Birmingham for a dew days (I'm from France btw) and I wanted to bring back a few memories, then I went through different breweries to try to take away a local beer and especially a pint glass, I could have stolen it easily after ordering a drink but I really meant to be honest so I went through different breweries and asked them politely if it was possible to take away the glass after buying a pint even if it meant paying it, most of the bartenders I met were kinda rude and not really helpful until I went to the Wolf pub and that I met the bartender and the owner of the establishment, they were really friendly and offered me the glass pint without even asking me to pay for a drink 'I still paid for one though' So I wanted to write this review to sincerely recommend this really heartwarming pub and this quality service, thank you for everything, I arrived yesterday in France and the glass is nicely exposed in my...
