My first time visiting Indian Brewery Snowhill - and it definitely won't be my last! Two of us dropped in for food without a booking and the guys hosting the restaurant greeted us with a great big smile and happily found us a table despite it being pretty busy! The menu had loads of delicious sounding dishes, but we both settled on their signature dish the "Faat Naan". I went for the butter chicken version, whilst my friend went for the vegan version. With options for spice level too. We shared a Masala Fries. Wow, what can I say... Absolutely bangin'! Naan was super savoury and topped with tender chicken, sauce and fresh chopped chillies and coriander. Amazing flavours! The Masala fries also had a solid kick. Beer selection was pretty good, although personally only had a pint of the IPA this time. It paired well with the Naan. Service was overall fast, efficient and very friendly. I would say the price for the food is very reasonable for the quality. Definitely returning!

Walked in alone at lunchtime, straight to the bar at the front, just ahead of a group of 7-8 people. I was asked if I had a reservation before the lady realised I wasn't part of that group, and then the tone towards me seemed to change and attention shifted to the others to be seated first. I suppose this is understandable as there were more of them, but it's more how impolitely I was brushed aside like maybe I was a problem, in the way or something. I didn't mess anyone around, I knew exactly what I wanted to order and as soon as she was back to serving me, I ordered my food and a beer, and I paid up immediately. I was then kind of left to find myself a table, and I deliberately sought out the smallest one as I was alone. Despite the fact the place wasn't very busy at the time and how things had gone so far, I still wanted to be courteous and take up as little space as possible. I don't normally mind my food taking a while as it's usually a good sign, but I did notice people coming in after me, being seated, having their orders taken and then getting their food before me. I also noticed a few times everyone else in the room got asked if everything was ok, & I got ignored despite being in close proximity to everyone. I didn't really mind this as I usually can't be bothered with chit-chat while I eat, but it was becoming obvious I wasn't really welcome there. The food was quite average, so that may explain why they may possibly be anxious about desi people visiting and catching it out. I was the only desi customer in there. Since this experience I have read other desi peoples' reviews and seen that this kind of experience is a recurring issue here. As I was done eating and about to leave, I leaned back to take a sip of beer & accidentally made eye contact with the lady who had served me at the start while she tended to another group, so she then prompted herself to ask "ok?" in a stop-start way. To which I just nodded and made a hasty exit away from the awkwardness. I have given an extra star because credit where it's due, the beer was really nice.

I honestly don't know which superlative to use: beautiful, wonderful, fantastic, magnificent. We'd heard this place was great and headed there intending to have a little food and a load of beer. In the end it went the other way, we ate a load of food, had a couple of beers, and waffled/rolled off down the road with a warm curry-glow & big smiles on our faces. The kitchen is 'open' in that there's an enormous window, right next to where we were sat, the food really is second to none, but this view into rear of house proves there is absolutely nothing to hide. I can't recommend this place enough. Just gutted that it's a 3.5 hour train trip from my home town ☹️ If the staff see this I'd just like to say a heartfelt thanks for a remarkable experience at an affordable price. You're definitely doing things right.👍

What an absolutely banging place. Two of the best things ever invented put together in one place to an excellent standard. A group of 5 went there on a Thursday night. At one end is a brew house with a selection of craft ales and beers (other drinks available too) at the other is a seating area where I dian street food style food is served with a western twist. Although rice and curries available this place is all about delicious unique curries served on naan bread, and it was out of this world. Plenty of sides available but I recommend the cheesy chips (with an India twist of course!). Service was great and brilliant vibe. Will be coming here again next time in town. And just to cap it all it was really reasonably priced.

Seriously, this place is outstanding. It is quirky, vibrant, funky and just a whole lot different: in a really good way. It's a super special place where you could bring your family or a hot date! Nabhi and his crew are friendly and helpful & create a laid back, almost hosting a party atmosphere. And then we get to the beer and food: it's REALLY good. The sort of food and drink you think about a few days later and wish you were back there eating & drinking it. What a find! I can't encourage you enough to go, try it, it's worth the visit and you'll find yourself returning. I'm intending to for sure! Thank you, The Indian Brewery Team, you've really cracked it: the atmosphere, the food, the beer, the service, it's perfect! 👏🏼 🙏🏼🕉

Was a good experience overall .... staff were very friendly and accommodating. in the heat wave we have we had fans put by our table as there is no air conditioning. Its made out to be like a tabla service stop in India .... and really good food. Not authentic indian food as things are no way as chilli or has over the top flavours like in India ..... but is made for a western market and food is nice.... had no complaints .... a lot of the drinks on offer they did not have which was a little annoying as I really wanted a limca and dad wanted a good Indian beer but they did not have any. all around ok place to eat whic has got a extra star to make it 4/5 purely due to the great service. otherwise 3/5 for food .....
