Franca's Pizza Parlour — Restaurant in Bolton

Worst Italian I've EVER eaten , first time eating from here and we will NEVER be eating from Franca's again!!.. Ordered two pasta dishes , my partner asked for a " Chicken Arrabbiata" never got what he asked for the chicken wasn't even chunks of chicken god knows what dish they had given him??? , the lady on the phone was stupid didn't understand a pasta dish - ( Chicken Arrabbiata) that's all I asked for a chicken Arrabbiata and she was so confused as to what I asked for as it wasn't clearly written properly on the Menu , I said myself it's a spicy dish , no spice in the dish and sprinkles of chicken what's that !!?... The garlic breaded mushrooms weren't even breaded , absolutely shocking for the price of £6 just plain mushrooms with garlic oil not advertised well at all , was my birthday meal treat , ruined and wasn't worth the money of £27 so thank you for the rubbish food and service...The woman taking over the phone orders was absolutely CLUELESS very...

I have been gong to Frances for over 20 years and would always give it 5 stars but "What has heppend to the size of the Pizzas". We ordered large Franca's special. It was the size of a traditional small. I even went back in the shop and said " We ordered a large". That is a large came the reply. That is the smallest large and a massive difference to the great pizza it use to be. We literally had 2 slices each ( 2 of us). Sorry but if that the future then won't be going back. This must be the holy grail of Italian fast food. Franca, a petite Italian lady with a cockney accent opened way back around 1984 and has since been a local legend. Her shop is spotless and very tastefully fitted out. The food is as authentic as you can get without jumping on a jet and going to Milan to pick up your favorite pizza. The pizza selection surpasses any other outlet and you can sample dishes here found only in Francas family kitchens.. If you love Italian food and fed up of other boring branded outlets then you have to go and try Francas on St Georges Road near to Bolton town centre......
