Mr Pho — Restaurant in Bolton

It's probably our 12th visit now to Mr Phos and still stand by our original comments towards this place. I've pretty much tried everything on the menu now, and it's all simply delicious!! 😋.. From the sea food options to the meat! Never leave disappointed, belly full an always happy and content!! .. ..

First visit to Mr pho - Vietnamese Street Food, today an it's certainly not going be our last!!! 🤩🍜. The food is amazing and certainly hit the spot!!

The menu is not vast, but what they do serve is a true orthentic taste of Vietnamese cuisine, and they do it really well.!!

We tried the salt & pepper tofu & Vietnamese spring rolls to start, and the tofu is some of the best I've had.!! Could of happily had a second serving of that!! dipped in the homemade peanut sauce 🤤🤤🤤..

For main both, have a pho soup bowl special (mixed meat)!! The broth was amazing light but yet fragrant, and the meat was tender, we jazzed our dishes up with some.the additional vegetables served an also some of the home made hot sauce, that rely did pack a firy punch 👊 🔥..

Overall, we had an amazing experience and certainly would recommend this place to family and...

I didn’t check here before my visit. I am surprised that so many people gave 5 stars and it’s really not good. Before I ate the prawn PHO Vietnamese rice noodle, I was thinking next time we can come for coconut sizzling rice. However, when the food arrived, the soup is very watery with salt taste only. I used to have PHO cooked with meat flavoured soup such as beef or chicken soup in other restaurants. This soup is tasteless but the texture of rice noodle was alright and the prawn has not much taste. They cut the prawn into half, probably they can to shorten the cooking time but this make the prawn has lesser taste and not good for chewing. The food portion is alright. My friend has same feeling that his beef also has not much taste and the water soup. He said even worse than using the powder in the package of the instant noodle. Maybe we ordered wrong food this time unfortunately. I think we may come again only after very long time for another chance or no more. I used to buy king prawn at Bolton market, the taste will be better. The restaurant is small and hot but it’s not a problem if food...

I was recommended by a friend so decided to go before the theatre on Tuesday. I mentioned to the lady how we were pushed for time and if it would be ok and she said no problem. The lady was lovely and helpful and service very quick (but not rushed). The outstanding part though was the food. I ordered summer rolls which were packed full of prawn and char Sui pork then the Coconut Sizzle which was absolutely delicious. My friend had the Vietnamese baguette which she loved too. All the meat in our dishes was so tender with no fat at all. I will 100% be back because everything on the menu looked so good. I only took one star off because there’s no toilet.
