I recently visited the McDonald's located at Horwich, and I was generally pleased with my experience. One of the most notable advantages of this particular McDonald's is its convenient location. Situated in a busy area, it is easily accessible and has ample parking space, which is a significant plus, especially during peak hours when finding a spot can be challenging at other locations.
Upon entering, I found the restaurant to be quite busy. There were a lot of people dining in and several others waiting around, which created a somewhat crowded atmosphere. Despite the busyness, the staff managed to maintain a good level of service. The lines moved relatively quickly, and I didn't have to wait too long to place my order.
The food itself met my expectations. It was freshly prepared, and the quality was consistent with what I have come to expect from McDonald's. Everything was hot and tasted good, which was satisfying.
During my visit, I encountered an issue with my order. One of the items I received was incorrect. However, when I brought this to the attention of the staff, they were very helpful and courteous. They promptly corrected the mistake without any fuss, which I greatly appreciated. The staff's responsiveness and willingness to resolve the issue demonstrated good customer service.
One downside to my visit was the overall busyness inside the restaurant. The high volume of customers created a somewhat chaotic environment, and it was a bit challenging to find a clean and quiet spot to sit and enjoy my meal. While I understand that McDonald's is a popular fast-food chain, it would be beneficial if the management could find ways to better manage the crowd during peak times.
Overall, my experience at this McDonald's was positive. The location is convenient, the parking is ample, and the food was enjoyable. I thought that was the worst of it but nope tonight topped it all.! I was eating my food and had a couple of bites of my burger all seemed fine until all of a sudden a could feel a hair at the back of my throat, I had to fight with this hair to get it back up which hurt and it was a really long hair too which didnât help.! I compared it to my hair and it was longer and a different colour just to make sure but it certainly wasnât mine.! I phoned the store to complain about this and the person I spoke to well his attitude stunk and he had no compassion for what had just happened and didnât seem bothered at all saying Iâll get them to wear hair nets okay. Then I said thatâs not good enough your brushing under the table whatâs just happened to me and the reply I got was âwell what do you want me to do about itâ and he said that several times too like he didnât care.! Honestly the attitude was disgraceful and the fact he didnât show any kind of remorse for anything has really made me angry. There was quite a long wait time and the app although order confirmed when got to first drive through window was advised to pay again although no issues via app, which left me feeling I was being double charged although staff were polite and said I wouldnât be, then had to wait quite a while as drive through was busy as service at window was going very slowly, the food order was correct apart from the six drinks that needed straws had none given, which isnât a rare thing to occur as seems to be endemic of most McDonaldâs you visit where the straw seems an after thought and hence why the straws missing and the very slow experience of drive through meant only four stars for the review at this location. On a side note well done McDonalds for bringing the double fillet o fish burger to UK, finally options I can go for as none of the burgers are either kosher or halal, the vegan burger isnât anything to write home about...
