I had the pleasure of dining at Sizzling Palate recently, and it was hands down one of the best steakhouse experiences I’ve had. From the moment we arrived, the ambiance was warm and inviting, with a perfect balance of modern elegance and cozy charm. The lighting was soft, and the open kitchen added an extra touch of excitement, as we could see the chefs working their magic on the grill.
Now, let’s talk about the food—absolutely incredible. We started with a fresh, crisp Caesar salad that had just the right amount of dressing, followed by an appetizer of sizzling shrimp wrapped in bacon, which set the stage for what was to come. But the real star of the show was the steak. I ordered the bone-in ribeye, and it was cooked to absolute perfection—charred beautifully on the outside and incredibly tender and juicy on the inside. The seasoning was perfectly balanced, and the meat practically melted in my mouth. My dining companion had the filet mignon, which was equally impressive—tender, flavorful, and cooked exactly as requested. The sides—garlic mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables—were just the right complement to the rich, smoky flavor of the steaks.
What made this meal stand out even more was the exceptional service we received, all thanks to our server, Tejas. From the moment Tejas greeted us with a warm, genuine smile, we knew we were in for something special. His attention to detail was second to none. He guided us through the menu with ease, offering thoughtful recommendations and answering all our questions about the cuts of meat and their sourcing. It was clear that Tejas wasn’t just there to take our order; he was truly invested in making our experience memorable.
Throughout the meal, Tejas was the perfect balance of attentive without being intrusive. He checked in at just the right moments—making sure our drinks were always full, asking if we needed any extra sauces, and ensuring that every aspect of our meal was just as we wanted. When I had a small preference for the temperature of my steak, Tejas quickly arranged for it to be adjusted without hesitation, showing incredible care and professionalism.
But what really stood out was his genuine passion for his work. When I asked about the restaurant’s commitment to sourcing high-quality, sustainable ingredients, Tejas shared with us how the steaks are sourced from local, trusted farms and prepared with the utmost care. His enthusiasm was contagious, and it made us feel even better about our choice to dine there.
By the time we finished our meal, we felt like we were leaving not just a restaurant but a place where the staff truly cares about their guests. Tejas’ hard work, dedication, and personable approach really made the difference, and it’s clear that he goes above and beyond to ensure each guest has an unforgettable experience.
Sizzling Palate exceeded every expectation, from the quality of the food to the impeccable service. If you’re looking for a steakhouse that combines top-tier dining with outstanding service, I can’t recommend this place enough. We’ll absolutely be back—and it’s all thanks to the exceptional experience created by Tejas and the team at...
Read moreHORRIFIC experience today. DO NOT VISIT ! Been a couple of times and definitely thought was too pricey for the quality of food you get. Ordered the lamb steak, and mix steak sizzlers and lollipop chicken and chilli prawns starters.. 1 portion chicken noodles kids meal for 2 kids and chips and 5 appletisers at £3 each. The prawns which cost £10.. are tiny little 5 pieces in a not so special sauce.. DEFINITELY NOT king prawns .. atrocious! The lollipop chicken is simply 4 niblets!!! Actually makes me laugh!!! Lol!! Dry pieces of chicken!! Worth a tenth of the price !! With a. Few strands of cabbage lollll!!!!! I have been in the food industry and disgusted by the quality of food.. not even worth half the price.. rather go to a nice buffet where will get much much higher quality food. Service was atrocious.. forgot our drinks and gave the gravy and left it for 20 mins and then bought the steaks. So when I mentioned to the waiter that the prawns are tiny and one or two pieces it was just the batter and nothing inside.. he said he’ll speak to the manager. I called him again half hour later and asked again and he told me he mentioned to the manager who just said ‘ok’. I was like so you don’t give me any feedback after my complaint? Turns out the manager comes down for a browse and when I mentioned it to him he was very blunt and said u get 5 pieces and do uwant me to bring u 2 pieces lol I was like leave it mate what a joke each piece is like 2 cm long! He was quite ignorant and disrespectful .. these guys don’t care cz they get all the custom they need which completely baffles me. Service and respect non existent. 100% these guys are there to rob you. Water expensive at £2.50 a bottle. Extra for CHeese, £1 per poppadom and pay extra for the little chutneys that come with it!! Read morehad booked a table for 8pm, and arrived punctually. Upon arrival my not my family were greeted. We awaited for a period of time and then I had to mention to a waitress behind the counter in regards to my booking. The whole point of a reservation is to not wait upon arrival. We were seated at a small table and felt quite caustophobic.
10 minutes into eating our main courses, I found a hair in my sizzilier. I informed one of the waiters, he removed the sizzilier from my table and showed the manager. No remorse, no apology. We were ignored. I awaited for 30 mins to see if any staff member would inform me on what was going to happen about the reported hair I had found in my food or if an alternative would be brought out. Not a single staff member came to communicate with us. I then asked for the bill; and finally the manager told me that ANOTHER SIZZILER WAS BEING PREPARED FOR ME. And he had added extra charges for the first sizziler on my bill.
I told him that his level of service was disgusted and I was mortified that I had found a hair in my food, and nobody had come to justify themselves. Food hygiene levels are disgraceful. The manager, Safraz, looked extremely confused and gives the role “manager” a shame. He had no customer service skills, so I didn’t expect anything of his staff either. Whilst I was speaking to Safraz, he still didn’t show remorse, just pure attitude. Every waiter, including the chefs, came to stand besides my table whilst I spoke to safraz. I felt intimidated. I was then given dirty looks and death stares by the waiters, please find a picture for reference.
My family and I travelled from Greater Manchester for this meal for my Mother’s birthday and this incident ruined the whole meal. I am disgusted with this restaurant and had high expectations....
