The best bakery in the north, everything is absolutely delicious, the best pastry, and today I bought an egg and cress sandwich and was absolutely go smacked they seasoned it perfectly. Noone ever seasons anything and it does make a huge difference. The cakes are amazing my personal favourite is the apple and almond 😋😋😋 Staff are very friendly and lovely and I love the smart uniforms, they work hard , always busy because of the fantastic reputation and they are quick but id wait an hour for their pies and cakes lol . Wow ,made the trip over from the other side of West Yorkshire today and it was most definitely worth it . The turkey,stuffing and cranberry on granary was divine and the vanilla slice was equally as good. Lovely welcoming staff who tried really hard with my autistic son to entice him with a bun lol Even the dog got in on the act with a pupcake 🤣. One of the key reasons to visit Lytham for me. Delicious! Fresh! Tasty! I’ve been buying bread and other baked goodies (yummy rhubarb crumble) from Phil’s Bakery for a number of years. The consistency of their baking is fabulous. Regularly offering new breads too. Their Scottish (Glasgow) buns, their take on focaccia as well as their multi seed breads are my favourites.
